The tea and lemon drizzle cake were also extremely welcome! Nothing to fault with the room; my bath was down the hall but private to me...

We stayed here with friends whilst walking the Mortimer Way, and would thoroughly recommend this B and B. When we arrived, we had tea and an excellent (and very welcome) piece of cake; then Gail booked us a meal at The Boot, the local pub which has very good food. Our rooms were beautifully appointed and the breakfast was excellent....

Beautiful room with everything you could need (including a fridge); we ate out in the evening at the Bakers Inn which was a good services with lovely food and not far to walk. You can't get a better welcome than a cup of tea and some lemon drizzle cake! This was a lovely house with beautiful furniture and antiques throughout. David and Gayle couldn't have been better hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The place was beautifully clean throughout. Breakfast was chosen from a good selection and was nicely cooked. If you are...

We were welcomed with the most delicious tea and lemon cake, had a delightful room supplied with everything you would wish for (and more - iced water left for the night!). When David delivered our luggage to the Bateman Arms the next morning, and realized the pub had lost...

From the outset, on our arrival, our hosts, Gail & David, were very welcoming and after a long journey, it was a pleasant addition to be offered tea and cake, which by the way, was delicious!, Having viewed the room, which was clean, light, airy and beautifully furnished, we went off to our family party. On our return, later in the...

Rosecroft is a comfortable, hospitable highly recommended B&B. The Benson's know exactly what to provide, take care of everything in an understated way and it's great value for money. Breakfast is under the watchful eye of Gail, a beautiful portrait of her as an 8 year old girl adorns one of the walls in the breakfast room, and I'd recommend...
