We had a day trip to visit the Kloster with friends. It was a lovely sunny day and a very enjoyable outing. An audio guide is available in your language of choice and is helpful in understanding the various features and history of the Kloster. The audio is an additional cost to the entrance fee. I would not recommend this...

The renovated guesthouse which was originally the monks rooms at the Cloister in Eberbach is quaint and comnfortable. It is at one of the largest Reisling wine producing areas and has the opportunity of an unique experience.

The grounds are really beautiful - an old monastery with guest rooms, a restaurant, conference facilities and winery. The room was adequate with no complaints. The conference facilities were great for a group of about 35. For runners, it was fun to run down the hill to the town and back to the monastery. Eltville is a few miles away...

I was really looking forward to my stay at Kloster Eberbach- an ancient monastery and winery- I thought I would be in for a treat. Kloster Eberbach Monastery is well worth a trip- really stunning architecture and the whole site has been beautifully maintained and cared for. But I would advise people to dine and sleep elsewhere. The rooms have...

We stopped here between rudesheim and Heidelberg and loved the Middle Ages exemplified in the architecture and Cistercian order. You can walk through the chapter house, refectory, etc, and sample the wine at the end. The guide gives good English descriptions. Definitely worth s visit!

I think I've finally found the perfect last night's stopover before catching a morning flight from Frankfurt Airport (not wanting to stay in Frankfurt itself). This handsome small hotel is on the grounds of a well-preserved medieval monastery - be sure to arrive in time to tour the monastery itself, one of Germany's best; it's lovely and quiet, of course,...

We were at Kloster Eberbach in March 2014 and were really happy with our stay. Booked by our colleges for a business Trip, the Hotel offered large rooms, great comfort and an unique atmosphere. It is a bit far off, so you will need a car, but the surroundings are beautiful and apparently it was also used as a film...

The setting is beautiful, and very quiet. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Food in the associated restaurant was good, although breakfast in the hotel itself had limited choice. For business there is free wi-fi in the room. The meeting facilities were good. A wine tasting tour of the monastery was very good (if extremely cold!).
