The Farm is among the most beautiful properties I have experienced anywhere in the world. It is incredibly elegant and luxurious, yet understated and personal. No detail is overlooked anywhere on the property. The staff is attentive to every need and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, private, elegant and beautifully appointed. The fireplace was a lovely touch! The food...

We stayed here for 3 nights and have already raved to our American friends to come (the lodge targets American tourists partly because of the American owner connection). The design is elegant yet comfortable and furnished with everything you'd want in good taste if money was no object (our favourite common room was The Snug). Dinner was a culinary highlight...

Every aspect of this facility is nothing short of superb. The location and setting, design and quality of the units and lodge, facilities on offer, service in all respects and dining experience are as good as you can get for this type of facility anywhere in the world. We could not fault one aspect of this amazing property. A wonderful...

This is a stunning property. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Nice room, great bed and bathroom. Nice verandah and view. Excellent spa. We didn't know quite what to make of the locked gate and intercom greeting but when we realised how far it is from the gate to the lodge it was clear why this was necessary.

What lovely comments - thank you. Yes, our "entrance way" certainly makes for an intriguing arrival. I am so pleased you experienced the delights of our wonderful spa, with the best views in Hawke' Bay! It is good to know you left us feeling relaxed and content with your stay, we look forward to seeing you at The Farm again....

Just spent weekend at Cape Kidnappers, best rooms and friendly staff, views to die for and a real feeling of getting away from everything. Staff were fantastic but first nights dinner was incredibly rushed with two courses served within 30 minutes of sitting down. Fantastic wine service especially on second night. Food was fantastic and surroundings you couldn't fault. If...

Dear Anna, Thank you for your great review. We are very lucky with the stunning views from every suite, I never tire of them. I am sorry you found the service a little fast between courses, we have some guests that want a leisurely service and others that prefer a very fast service - we try and read the desires...

We book a lunch to celebrate 3 of our adult childrens birthdays. We had a 3course lunch for 7 of us. Such a beautiful experience, surroundings and food surpassed expectations. The views are stunning, and the lodge itself is beautifully furnished in a very rustic theme. You are certainly made to feel very special.

This is one of the most picturesque, challenging, and interesting golf courses. We took a caddie and a golf cart, which was really the best way to play it. The lodge has large rooms on the ridge which have fabulous views of the course and Hawke's Bay.

Phenomenal experience with breath-taking views and some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. They would wait on you hand and foot and make you feel like royalty. Loved my time there and the two days of golf didn't hurt either :)

You really feel like you are miles from anything. Cellphone coverage is very intermittent so if you are looking to get away from it all this is definitely for you.
