This hotel is located very close to the Big C and a large lake. The rooms are quite large and the shower is separated by sliding glass doors from rest of bathroom. The rooms comes with breakfast but it is mostly Thai style. You have free use of a bicycle and can ride around the lake. The staff is very...

We spent a week here; me, my wife, our daughter (1.5 y/o) and my parents. The location is perfect. There is a day market and a night market at just the other side of the road. Street food, clothes and other merchandise all within arms reach. In addition Big C shopping center and Expo market is only within 10 minutes...

Large central hotel. Lacked a cosy feel but was clean and in good repair. Fair price for a huge quiet room overlooking the street. Short walk from one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand. Worthy of a visit for the incredible Wax Castle Festival end of October, otherwise not a lot for the tourist in Sakon Nathon itself. However,...

The hotel itself looks not bad, the rooms are clean and big (the deluxe room). But there is no service at all, the WIFI is so slow that it is hard to open any page, we went out in the morning and came back at 2pm, the room was not made, they dont have in the morning an airport transfer...

The Majestic is a relatively standard provincial hotel in Thailand. It was clean and everything worked OK: air conditioning, warm water in shower but not the sink, and TV worked, but no international channels. Reception could best be described as civil, but not welcoming. The décor was a bit stark, featured lots of ancient teak wood, but not modern furnishing...

I'm writing this review after staying in another 2 hotels in Sakon Nakhon. A last minute trip to the town meant that I was trying to book this hotel whilst in transit. I called the front desk and asked if we could speak in English. The response was a firm NO! "Is there anybody there who does speak English?" a...
