Room accommodations are clean, simple, and very functional. The Posada is located at walking distance from both beaches (Brava with waves; and Mansa, no waves but sunset looking). It has a pool, service is great, people are very friendly, including Clo Dimet, the manager and Chef. Pricing is appropriate.

I had a great experience at posada Paradiso. Super clean accommodations, with a south american charm and amazing customer service! Looking forward to come back to this lovely spot soon. Jose Ignacio is a must if you are coming to Punta Del este. The tiny town it is the most popular destination at the Uruguayan riviera.

Having read the 3 bad reviews about this place one can tell that there are people that shouldn't visit José Ignacio as they probably don't understand it. Yes, the Posada (Inn in English) is Minimalistic / Simplistic, but if you know a thing or two about José Ignacio you will know there are only 3 places to stay in José...

I recently stayed in this magical place with my best friend and upon check in Clo Dimet the exeutive chef and manager of the posada greeted us like if we where old friends. She immediatly booked a couple of great masages for us and gave us the best recommendations for awesome things to do. Her homemade food and desserts are...

I stayed with a friend for a few days and we loved it. The rooms are fantastic, the food fabulous, and EVERYONE made you feel really comfortable. It has truly kept the relaxed essence of jose Ignacio. The place is quiet, and on the colder nights, you can sit by the fireplace and enjoy a great glass of wine and...

We stayed here for one night with our family. There are a range of rooms to choose from, we got a fairly basic one due to booking last minute, but worth looking at your options. Clo was great and really friendly and helpful, and is a chef by trade so I think it would be worth a visit to the...

Posada Paradiso is much more than an ordinary hotel. Posada Paradiso is a friends' house, you feel at home, Clo is wonderful and even if it is not "perfect", I really appreciate the "shabby-chic" touch, the atmosphere is really special. Even the staff is very kind and helpful. It is walking distance from everywhere in Jose Ignacio. The menu isn't...

Posada Paradiso is without doubt a little haven of Paradise in this stunning small but immaculate town in Jose Ignacio. I went with two of my best girlfiends and albeit all sharing a room with dresses, bikinis and tee shirts strewn over the floor and under the beds, we never felt on top of each other due to the courtyard...

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel in Jose Ignacio, it really made our trip. The owners Clo and Jose are amazing, really looked after us, and were a wealth of knowledge for things to do in the area, from restaurant recommendations to horse riding on the beach. Always so friendly, helpful and genuine. Our car even broke down and Jose...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dear friends, My partners and I are very excited to share with you our latest enterprise. Posada Paradiso is a long planned and much dreamed of project, which has now become a reality. Set in the village of Jose Ignacio, on the Punta del Este area of Uruguay, it features 20 comfortable rooms and a small restaurant in a terracotta country house that bears all the charm that loving care can convey. It is difficult to describe this particular area to a foreigner. They say there are as many Punta del Estes as people who visit it, since it offers parallel options for every demand, from golf to surf to polo, from fantastic country estates or beachfront villas to quaint cottages in lush pine forests, from dazzling parties, clubs and casinos, to night-trips on horseback under the moonlight, nature of breath taking beauty and endless beaches where you feel the only person on earth. It will be our pleasure to welcome you to our Paradiso. Life is about the good times, come on! Clo Dimet. ... more   less
