We went to this lodge for a family occasion, but to me it was less than average. The place misses some charme and special features, and is a bit too big for my liking. The game drive was Ok although visiting the sable "stud" is a bit unnatural for my liking. The scenery is quite flat and bushy. The food...

We travelled to Namibia for the first time last week and had no clue what we would find. At Otjiwa Mountain Lodge we found five separate cottages with five different views over the bush and antelope roaming right up to the stoep. We were welcomed by Piet and Maureen who looked after our every need. Delicious breakfasts, wonderful braais, cold...

Photos showed double bed yet it was 2:single beds.... very uncomfortable . Dam by our room was stunning with all the dragon flies. Lantern and pool gorgeous. Game drives great. Animals look happy. Expected a mixed grill but just got game meat balls and only one of the dinners. Overall pleasant stay . Will recommend onwards

Friendly service, excellent rooms, only that the water did not run fluently. We enjoyed our stay at Otjiwa, it was relaxing and enjoyable. A future trip is definitely in our plans. Thank you to all the staff for making it so special. Merry Christmas to you all.

About a month ago we visited Otjiwa Lodge for a Sunday lunch as they advertise quite frequently. Although the place was clean and quiet, the service was very poor. We had to find a waitress to assist us and when it was time to order our meals, it just went southwards. We waited about an hour for our meals, then...

This resort is small but beautiful. Positives Game drive on site, $250N each £15, $18.5 US. They have a wide variety of game on site, varying from Kudu, Springbok, Warthog, Wildebeest and 16 White Rhino. This happens at 5pm in summer, there is also a rhino walk at 6am for $350N. We had a great game drive seeing so much...

The lodge chalet bungalows are traditional if a bit dated. This however adds to the character of the place. The real bonus is however the various waterholes which provide continual entertainment watching the abundance of animal and bird life.

We stopped for 1 night in our motor home on the way from Etosha to Windhoek. Perfect facilities, the camp site water was heated by fire and the showers were open air! The site was 150N$ per person, plus we were allowed to use the pool and towels for that too! A beer and rock shandy were about £2! The...

We stayed a night at the campsite to cut the trip from Windhoek to Caprivi in half. However, our stay was much more than just a break. The campsite is lovely with spacious campsites. Wildlife come visit you at the site; we saw a springbok, puku and the inevitable guineafowls. In the morning we booked a rhino safari. The guides...
