Beautifully situated resort area that is pet friendly. Cottages are very clean, proprietors very accommodating and friendly and have a very solid handle on customer service from start to finish. Cottages are older style with kitchenette and BBQ. Wifi was fair to poor. Dockage and boats provided for fishing etc. Great area to walk dogs. We had good weather and...

This cottage resort has a lovely and peaceful location and very helpful and accommodating, but not intrusive, proprietors. It successfully combines rustic charm and thoughtful amenities (e.g., high end linens and towels). Town of Lakefield and many cultural and recreational activities are close by. Perfect spot if traveling with a pet (as I did). Cottages and grounds maintained to a...

Amazing cottage retreat. Pam and Peter are very genuine attentive hosts. You can tell that they love what they do. The cottages were very clean and had that right balance of luxury vs. roughing it. The grounds are very nice and clean, we saw frogs, lotions, ducks and cranes. It is not only pet accepting but pet friendly. We were...

Very clean and well equipped for our 10 night stay. We travelled from the UK so had limited space in our suitcases. we enjoyed the facilities, the swimming pool, canoeing...

Had a lovely weekend getaway with my sisters. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage #4 dog daze. Cabin was small, but offered everything we needed and it was great to be right on the lake. We made use of the row boat and the paddle boat while we were here and enjoyed a little time on the lake. We...

Stayed for a weekend at the beginning of June. We had a GREAT stay at lakeedge. It was the weekend after our wedding and they were so kind to us, even leaving us a congratulatory bottle of champagne (very lgbt friendly - we're s.s. and was never an issue). Stayed at Cat Tails. Definitely a "cottage" in the true sense...

Pam and Peter are very helpful and welcoming. The cabin is clean and well-equipped. You have the choice to keep your dog on or off leash as long as it is under your full control. Our dog, Mimi had a blast running around and swimming along the shore line. The only thing that we were not completely satisfied with is...

What a great get away! This quaint cottage resort is perfect for couples or families. It's extremely clean and has all the amenities. Heated with gas wood stove along with a hot tub makes it a nice romantic get away for 2. They supply a BBQ and all you have to bring is food. It's close to town where there...

Views from the cottages are spectacular!! This charming place is perfect for us.... my only concern is by writing this review, we're giving away our...

“We were in cabin 3 hush puppy. It doesn't have a hot tub, but it does have the best view of the lake and a great hammock to enjoy it by.”

“We stayed in cottage 5 (one bedroom) which was a perfect size for two adults and two dogs. The deck has a gate so the dogs can stay outside with us without the concern of them roaming free. Be sure to take a lot of blankets if your fur-kids like to snuggle on furniture. I took a large blanket so my golden could sleep on the couch. Cottage 6 and 7 are more private and are closer to the pool....I prefer lake-front personally...”
