Last November I used Dias as my base for hiking up to Mt. Gamila and Drakolimni lake. The guesthouse was perfect. It exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The rooms were cosy and comfortable (decently priced), the food in the dining/cafe area was very tasty and well priced, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Well done! Dias guesthouse is...

This was my second trip to Mikro Papigko and my second visit to this amazingly beautiful guesthouse. I met the lady and the owner again and exchanged stories of my climbs in the area. The place is not only beautiful but very comfortable and perhaps offer the cheapest rooms in the village. We ate bean soups and goat cheese with...

We spent 2 nights at Dias Hotel a couple of weeks ago, and I completely fell in love with this place. Rooms were silent, nice and clean, but most of all I loved the hospitality of Kostas, his brother and their family, that with their discretion full of cares and attention made our staying really special. In particular, we spent...

During April 2015, Dias Guesthouse was relatively less expensive than other places in Papigo. It is locates right next to the Information Center and 150 meters from the starting point towards Astraka Refuge. Our room was a bit dark and it wasn't easy to maintain the room's temperature using the radiators, the beds are a bit old fashioned - wide...

We had after a long hike a wonderful lunch in Dias. The garden is nicely shady and impresses with tasteful plants and kiwis in abundance. The place is perfect for lunch between hiking trips and we enjoyed fresh salads, various mezze and great main dishes.

for three days. The rooms were very nicely decorated, in accordance with the local tradition (though a bit more luxurious). The bed mattresses were really comfortable and the towels of unexpected high quality. That might seem funny to notice but it is true :P the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would choose it again!

Mikro Papingo(or Papigko) is in my view the best place to stay among all Zagori villages, especially because of its location as a gateway to both the Vikos gorge and the upper Tymfi plateau. This guesthouse has an absolutely delightful terrace and a beautiful dining room, It is located right in the center of the village, in an area where...

The Kostas brothers know about hopitallity. Dias cooks great meals. His brother Yannis klimbs the mountains looking for wild spinach and herbs. Breakfast is great with fresh yogurt and eggs or whatever you want. The hotel also serves as the local hangout for the few people that still live in the beautful village of Mikropapingo.

My husband and I were only at the restaurant of the hotel. We ordered tsiperso, which is stronger than ouzo, and we were given a lovely mezze. The yigandes (large beans) were absolutely delicious. Since my husband wanted a little more to eat, he ordered chopped pork with fries, and the pork was delicious (slouvaki, only not on a stick)....

...of the hellenic hospitality and excellent services. Visiting this beautiful traditional hotel for the new year's eve was one of the brightest travelling decisions. Charming rooms with fireplace, full of wood, superior view to the proud mountain of Gamilla, but mostly, warm people ready to serve you, have offered us a great stay. Delicious food, in the hotel taverna, home-made...

“After parking your car, at the entrance of Mikro Papingo, you must walk a bit, but do not walk on the on the steps, just walk straight up, about a five minute walk. Someone with walking difficulties might have some problems, but those who can, it's a love little walk. I would image the hotel to very nice.”
