Can't imagine a better hotel or accommodations in the region. Very enjoyable and amazingly attentive proprietors. The facility is the proprietor's family home that he returned to after a career away. He grew up in Dimitsana and has much local history and many anecdotes to share. Great mountain town with loads of history makes for a perfect couple days relaxing...

Traditional Greek family hospitality. This is our fourth visit to Dimitsana & Amanites. The main reason is the way we are treated here. Aris & Elani are the most helpful & accomodating host & hostess. The room is charming with great vistas & the breakfast is poli orea & beautfully presented. Efharisto poli Ari & Elani.

We enjoyed a great stay in Amanites. This small guesthouse is run by a family who loves to take care of people. We feeled like we were hosted by family members and that was the best part of our spring break. We also enjoyed our very clean room with a mountain view and the breakfast which included many home made...

We highly reommend The Amanites Guesthouse and wish we had stayed 2 nights. The owners are welcoming and the room was top notch. The inn is only a few years old and built with top quality materials through-out and pride of ownership shows through and through.Excellent bed too. They serve a delicious breakfast buffet in the reception room and are...

We had a very nice two day stay in this beautiful guest house. Panos was very helpful and accomodated our needs for early breakfast, cocktails in the breakfast room, etc. The guest house itself is warm , clean, cozy and affords lovely views of the village and surrounding hillsides.

We spend the previous weekend in Amanites. Mr. Aris and Mrs. Lena made you feel that you have visited your best uncle and aunt , they made you feel like home. "Very nice rooms" bust most important is "Very nice people".

We happened upon this charming hotel on a road trip through the mountains. We had little expectation for Dimitsana or this hotel, and it was the highlight of our trip. The hosts we're exceptionally accommodating. We were offered wine and conversation by the fire in the living room as we played backgammon. The owner gave us information about the town,...

Amanites is a lovely, family-run guest house in beautiful Dimitsana We stayed there for three days earlier this month and we were extremely pleased. The room was clean, it had all necessary facilities expected, the shower was great and the balcony view remarkable. The snow which fell overnight made the scenery even more attractive. Our room was very warm despite...

As the owner says, "not a hotel, a home". Experience the warmth of Greek hospitality. We were travelling for a few days and this was the perfect place to relax and ground ourselves. I've never written a review before, but this place inspired me. It has the warmth of family away from home - it was great for a winter...

Very nice welcoming guesthouse. The décor of rich woods of the home are appropriate for this mountain community. Good location for walks to the monasteries in the area. Not far from the village there is an Open-air Water Power Museum that is also worth a visit. It includes a flour mill, a traditional cauldron, a tannery, a tanner's house and...
