We were in Dimitsanas looking for information on my friend's grandfather who lived here before coming to the USA. John and Vivian were very helpful in this matter. Vivian even found a picture of a house that may have been his grandfather's and John set out in the morning looking for it! John acted as our interpreter when we spoke...

Everything about Amanites was perfect. The owner and staff were warm, welcoming, very helpful and determined to make our stay memorable. The building is clean, new and offers great views of the valley and countryside. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The rooms were quiet and well appointed. The little village had nice restaurants and there is a flat walking/running trail...

Although we spent only one night in Amanites it was more than enough to understand the service quality they offer. The rooms are very clean comfortable and warm(during the winter) and makes you feel like home. Breakfast will cover your needs without being something exaggerated (probably it would be better if it offered more local products). The Guesthouse is located...

Visited last November with my wife. We have been in Dimitsana quite a few times last 3 years. One of the best hotels in Dimitsana. Spacious and well decorated rooms, traditional and quality breakfast. Very pleasant service by Mr. Aris and his wife

I stayed for four nights to enjoy this pretty mountain town and to explore the surrounding area. Panos, the son of the owners, made me feel right at home and was helpful with things to do and with some Greek phrases that could be useful and the finer points of pronunciation. Aggeliki was also helpful with language lessons and places...

During October, we stayed at Amanites for two nights and regretted we didn’t stayed more…. Above all I must mention the hospitality. We met both Panos and his father Harris Mourlas who manage the hotel. They are very interesting people to talk to and provide very useful information about the Dimitsana area. They are very kind and carrying: I forgot...

We had beautiful room with a great view of the village from our balcony. The room was tastefully designed and had a huge and very comfortable bed. What really made me fall in love with the place is Aris and Elena's warm hospitality, they made us feel very welcome and right at home. In the morning I couldn't believe my...

We arrived unannounced in the evening and were the only guests that night. You would think that Aris and Lena would skimp and tone down the facilities but oh no! Not only did Aris took the time to ensure we have everything we need he also helped us plan the next day in a difficult off season situation, including phoning...

We, my wife and I, had some wonderful days at Amanitsa Guesthouse in Dimitsana. It was a real coincidence that made us book a stay in Dimitsana but it was worth it. The guesthouse is constructed in traditional mountain style with large bedrooms, some with balconies. We got a room on the top floor (fourth floor) with an amazing view...

I do not usually write reviews but the genuine warmth and hospitality at Amanites was exceptional. A beautiful guesthouse recently constructed in traditional style with large bedrooms, some with balconies and great mountain views. Home baked treats at breakfast. Hosts Aris, his wife Lena and son Panos just could not do enough for you. In years of independent travel this...
