The staff at Lodge Andes were very sweet and helpful, but they spoke almost no English, so if you don't speak Spanish, communication is a really difficult. I was frustrated that I paid in cash up front, then when my plans changed and I gave notice that I was leaving a day early, the owner would not okay a refund....

Lodge Andes is great spot if you are on a budget. When i was there I was charged 37,000 Pesos. This included a light breakfast and a nice large dinner after day on the slopes. They also have afternoon tea and coffee in the afternoon. The staff was very helpful. They even had gear for me to rent while I...

I would definitely recommend staying at this lovely hostel in Farrelones. The view is amazing, it's right in the snowy mountains, and the staff are lovely and helpful. If you haven't booked transfers to/from El Colorado, Valle Nevada or Santiago, it's super easy just to do it once there; you just tell them the day before or in the morning...

Farellones is an expensive place to stay and this is the best deal I found. Very friendly staff and accommodating chef- I have a gluten allergy and he made me modified meals which were delicious. We stayed in a small room with a double bed which was cozy and comfortable. Bathrooms were not impeccable but pretty clean. Pretty easy walk...
