A really nice room on top floor with a balcony looking out onto the mountains. The staff were all absolute sweethearts and very kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good (someone was actually in the kitchen doing some real cooking I reckon, not just microwaving!) and it was all incredibly good value. Highly recommended.

Summary: Don't miss this place if you are in the Rila mountain region! (or in need of a peaceful place in rural Bulgaria) Main part: While approaching this small town, one might think, how did I end up here? The first impression is a rather poor town. But once on the hotel compound, things look new and tidy. The hotel...

Lovely hotel between the beautiful meadows and mountains of Govedartsi. The owners were extremely friendly and their food was outstanding. Perfectly located base for the magnificent hikes in the Rila Mountains. Every evening over dinner it was a treat to watch the shepherd move sheep and goats across the fields to the pasture. If it sounds idyllic, it truly is!...

A friend of us who lives in Goverdartsi takes us to this hotel to eat each time we visit. The best in Goverdartsi for us. The people are very hospitable and friendly. They didn't mind the noise which usually comes with eating in a group. We didn't stay at the hotel. Some friends have. They liked it. Probably the best...

This was much the best place I stayed during my recent trip to Bulgaria. Reason is simple - the staff really wanted to be there - which sadly is not always the case in Bulgaria. My heavy case got dragged up to the top floor almost before I could ask - and yet left outside the door, in consideration for...

I stayed here four nights and was one of a group of 13 people. There are fine views of the mountains from rooms and their small balconies, also from the large balcony where you can have drinks or eat and is located adjacent to the restaurant. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Beware the slippery shower floors! As usual in...

I grew up in Govedarci spending my summers with my grandparents there. Coming back with my extended family in the summer we needed place to stay. Krusharska kushta was an amazing, beautiful building and premises, ton of gorgeous flowers, typical Bulgarian atmosphere. The hotel is at the edge of the forest overlooking the mountain, morning view was beautiful, the night...

In the search of the nonexistent good service in Bulgaria, we were caught by surprise in the family hotel Krusharskata Kashta. The staff from the management all the way to the housekeeping were very warm, helping and professional. I will advise all mountain lovers to visit that magical place in Rila mountains and understand what real Bulgaria is all about....
