We had a wonderful time at wind munnar. We visited this place as a couple in the month of March. Key things that we liked : 1. Room and view from the room. Every room gets a valley view. 2. Food by in-house chef Muthu here is lip smacking. Make sure you try Kerela parotha and Kerela chicken curry. 3. Staff. The staff here is very friendly and prompt. Noby(manager) prepared us draft travel itinerary based on the time we had in Munnar which was very kind.

My vacation was well spent at the resort. During our stay, it was foggy and misty everywhere. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. I would recommend ordering the food ahead of time so that they have enough time to prepare and serve it on time. I will recommend the place to my friends at any time.

Nine of us (all bachelors) stayed in three rooms at “The Wind Munnar” from 11-12 Dec 2021. We had a terrible experience at this hotel and will never recommend to anybody due to the following reasons; 1. Reaching the place is very difficult. There are no signboards anywhere. There is hardly any road leading to the hotel. So going to this place by car is a big NOOOOOOOO. You can use an SUV to have an off-road experience. 2. There is nobody to receive you here. No reception boy, no caretaker, nobody. The person who talks to you during the booking (lets call him persuader) is remotely operating sitting at Kottayam. The hotel is under staffed. You will only see 2 people. They act as chef, room service boy and receptionist (only at checkout to collect cash). You cannot complain to “the persuader” as there is no network coverage available. You cannot even make a whatsapp call to him since their Wifi dongles can be used only as paper weight (None of them worked). 3. The rooms are average but do not get carried away by the photos they have uploaded. The TV does not work. I complained to the available person there. He said “IT DOES NOT WORK!!!”. 4. The food was pathetic. I wonder how they can add so much pepper in chilly chicken to make it inedible. They make good idli chatni and sambhar for breakfast. Everything else tastes “yuck”. During checkout they will hand over the restaurant bill which will really burn a hole in your pocket. Really surprised how people can rate this hotel as normal/good.

I visited the wind resort in October 2021. I stayed there with family for one night. They gave us stale food with bad odour coming of it. Another family that day also complained about bad smell from the food. I had booked two cottages for 6 adults and 2 children, they said at the time of booking that they would give an extra bed in one cottage for 4 people to stay in one cottage, but they did not provide the extra bed and said that 4 people have to adjust in one cottage in a small bed and a sofa-cum-bed thing. There cottage is really over priced, don't believe the images given in the net, it's all edited. They charged me 250 ra extra for the bed. I really had a bad experience.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a very convenient and relaxing stay. The staff were really welcoming. The rooms were spacious, and premises are kept clean. I would really appreciate the hygiene, safety measures the management had implemented to take care of their guest during reception, check in process and room services. Overall, it was a safe and comfortable stay.

Excellent cliff edge space. They provide a prompt and personalized service. Both rooms which we booked got an excellent view from bed side itself. Outstanding morning scenery of gap road and valley with a misty evening. In a nutshell, enjoyed every single minute of our stay.
