The most excellent stay in Munnar!! Returned here for the 2nd time, & the service is even better than before. From ease of booking & correspondence with Mr. Sakthy Raj & Mr.Premsingh, to Mr.Susheel P.M the GM of sienna who looked after us like old friends. Mr.Manikenden in the restaurant & chef Mr.Biju serving us the most delicious, wholesome, traditional Kerala food with so many choices The drinking water here is natural spring water from their own spring plant.the food is without preservatives, colour, & freshly prepared. Thank you to team Sienna for making our stay a memorable experience once again. The rooms are newly renovated, the property well maintained. The suite room we stayed in was done in shades of French decor, very spacious, clean . The housekeeping staff always served us with a smile & promptly accomodated small requests. The property is close to locations like Anayirankal dam, kolukammalai tea estate. Would love to visit again sometime.

I stayed with family, for 3 nights. We could not find any negatives about the property. Bath room is very clean and 24 hrs hot water with sufficient pressure and rain shower. When it rains, resort staffs voluntarily gave us big umbrella which made our whole trip very convenient
We took our food through out our stay, it was very delicious and value for money

We stayed here in December last year. Overall the experience was very pleasant, a place we would love to visit again. The property rooms and restaurant have an amazing location, beautifully set up between the scenic hills and moreover it is very near to Kolukkumalai sunrise point which was a nice plus point.
The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming, making sure we had a great stay. Very discreetly recollect Elsie in the helper staff greeting us wonderfully every day and providing us with useful information about the local areas
Special mention to chef Joby and his team, delicious regional food especially the varied breakfast spread. They made sure that every dish was well presented and tasted authentic. The majority of the spread changes every morning as well, so if you are a foodie, you'll love finding something new to try !!

The location and elevations are so beautiful. We enjoyed serene beauty of Idukki and sun rise from the hotel. The breakfast is so tasty. But this place is not friendly to elderly persons as the reception and rooms are placed at different locations. The slope and uneven pathways may obstruct free movement. The staffs are not cooperative. When we asked to clean our room they said there are no staffs to clean the room after 5 PM.

The property is impeccably maintained inside and outside the houses. The home is beautiful – the views are better than they appear in the photographs. Plenty of landscaped shrubbery, and it's a balm for city-sore eyes. The air is crisp, and quiet. Do request for a bonfire, and spend time walking outdoors to witness a star-filled night sky. A spot table tennis, pool, and chess were nice options (although the equipment need a touch-up).
Right from Biju, the gatekeeper, each staff member is not only courteous but friendly, helpful, and skilled – most hospitable and nice to interact with.
Susheel, the General Manager, was a delight to meet – he showed us around the plantations, introducing us to the fruits and vegetables they grow there, extended to us a lovely beetroot halwa on the house, and suggested a scenic route to drive back to Kochi. Shakti Raj, the day manager, was equally helpful in suggesting places to visit nearby, and serviced every request we had.
The food is deliciously prepared, and the range is quite something in an otherwise sparse culinary stretch. While the tandoor was closed, their curries, desserts, and more make a fine spread. Their complimentary breakfast was very good indeed – the idiappam and egg roast as well as the puttu and peanut curry call for special mention.
Plenty to do nearby: Kolukkumalai for sunrise (you get jeeps outside the property), Surianalle tea factory (you can pick up their teas and other spices from Siena), Tata Tea Museum, Top Station view point, and more.
I'll be looking to visit again. They have another property at Thekkadi – Springdale, if of interest.

I was a wonderful place, the rooms are really good and the hospitality is excellent. Spacious enough to walk around and enjoy nature. The food taste is good but very very expensive. They charged Rs 160 for plain white rice, Rs 160 for Sambar and Rs 160 for Rasam and papad. So a veg meal (bowl of white rice + Sambar + Rasam) without any vegetables (side dish) cost Rs 480

When you head to tea country in Kerala, you really don't want to stay in Munnar itself. Driving just a bit further gets you out of the crowds and into the beautiful setting of the Siena Village. We were completely satisfied with our stay in every way. The room and hotel grounds were excellent with upgraded furnishings, perfect for relaxing after a long day out in nature. Service was top notch and we were treated like royalty. The GM Susheel took time to get to know us and did everything in his power to make sure that our trip was both comfortable and memorable. Head Chef Jobin introduced himself and learned our particular taste and spice requirements and prepared a custom meal for us every evening (with fresh ingredients out of their local garden) based on our preferences. Further, we used the hotel to help us arrange our entire Kerala vacation from houseboats in Aleppey to full transportation. They simply went above and beyond in every way to make sure our trip was fantastic. I can't recommend this organization highly enough.

A nice little hotel in the mountains beyond Munnar. We saw in the New Year there and what a great programme they laid on. Scintillating drummers from a nearby village, graceful Bharat Natyam dancers, (and singers who did their best with a misbehaving sound system), entertained a crowd of guests and staff into the new decade. But the crowd made up for any lapses, and soon the drummers and the crowd were as one, dancing together in the open air and into the early hours of the new year. And all with hardly an alcoholic drink among the crowd. The hotel is "dry", but you can get drinks from the official government liquor store down the road ... in Kerala the sale of alcohol is a nationalised business, owned and run by the people of the state. There is little light pollution in Chinnakanal, the hamlet 25-odd kms from Munnar where this hotel sits, so you get some fantastic views of the stars at night. It is a peaceful stop in the mountains. But, but, but ... to get there you have to negotiate some of the roughest roads we came across in India. The awful state was due partly to the massive floods in Kerala in 2019 and partly to the fact that the road is being upgraded so it becomes the main four-lane highway between Munnar and Madurai soon. Until it is completed travellers will have to put up with being shaken to the bone. Also remember that the hotel is built on the side of a hill, so there are inclines and steps at every turn, not good if you have problems negotiating steps.

Wonderful place to stay, beautiful location, very hospitable staff, excellent service. The GM sir Mr. Susheel were very friendly and suggested places to visit and dishes to try. The resort's plantation garden was great. The suite had beautiful interiors designed in French style. Can't wait to visit again soon!!! Highly recommended for a refreshing getaway.
