On the whole, pathetic experience. Maintenance of this property is extremely poor. No water in the morning on every tap, dirty broken wardrobe, attached rooms has been alloted to two different parties so no privacy in terms of noise (i could not sleep because the other party checked in almost around midnight) , very dangerously located power point in the bath area, uneven hight staircases which is dangerous.

This hotel is terrible. They charge a lot and in return they donot offer either good food or service. The food is tasteless. If you ask for any service, they simply ignore it. Can you imagine that they did not recharge the DTH even after calling them three times and I had to recharge it myself! Much better hotels are there in the vicinity. Best to opt for hotels at other localities such as Bagora heights. Tip about the location: This place is terrible at night. Not a single street light outside hotel premises. You cannot go out at night.

We booked this hotel initially for 2 nights but ended up staying for 5 nights. The location is the USP of this hotel. The AVP of the Little Mastiff chain of hotels, Mr. ANIL GURUNG is a very cordial and warm hearted person. Helped us in all requirements. The hotel is in the midst of renovation, and for sure, after it gets completed, it would bear a fantastic look from everywhere amidst the mountains. The staff, Karan, is also of a great help and fetches any utility services promptly. Overall, we are in love with this hotel and already started missing it as soon as we left. Needless to mention, we would be arriving soon.

I stayed with my family at Silver Oaks for two days just after Covid travel restrictions and the place was worth it with fantastic view of the Dhauladar range, comfortable rooms. The best thing was the warm and friendly attitude of the owners. They were there to help make our Palampur trip the best experience and even arranged for us a booking for the paragliding. Uncle was very helpful with roads and directions. You can leave your Google maps behind. ;) Thanks Silver Oaks for a very warm Palampur experience which my family absolutely loved. :)

I stayed at this resort for 3 nights with my family. The location of the resort is very beautiful and the hotel staff is really good. The owner of the property is a very good person and helped us with suggestions for our trip. The food was great and the parking and reachability to various tourist places was also great. Peaceful and homely environment.

Absolute pleasure staying at the hotel. Near the tea gardens, the hotel has been beautifully crafted giving a sense of close to nature. Even a very well maintained garden at the hotel. Although the room flooring is old fashioned but that doesn't anyhow affect my stay here. Quiet area 2 km away from the Palampur city centre. Recommended.

I joined my friends staying at Silver oaks for breakfast at the terrace. This is the best spot in town for the view of Dhauladhar Mountains and amazing home cooked food. Rooms are neat and clean, spacious and well appointed. Ask for the owner Retd Flt Lt Suresh Bhasin to learn about the area. He is a dog lover as well.

Can't say good location, service staff very friendly rooms are big with basic facility, food we didn't try so can't say close to city 10 minutes drive from hotel if u need peace of mind Then it is OK no generator we booked on mmt we r satisfied
