Worst night of my life . Bedsheets were dirty, pillow covers had red stains . Blankets and quilts were smelly and full of dirt. Bed bugs can be there . You can carry the germs from such places. Furniture was in worst condition.

Well in very nestle I would say this hotel is not that modern...but what makes it different than anyone else is its people who works here. I was in Palmpur for a day Business trip, while going back to Shimla I felt sick, do decided to get any best possible place to take rest and sleep, fish option I got was Raj Golden hotel. I myself comes from Hospitality business, and I understand it much core to deliver the services. Being a budget hotel can't expect much from it..but the Gesture of people was working around was hard to find easily!! So kudos people. Had lot small experience though I didn't interacted much , sharing one..I was having terrible headache and asked a gentleman at Reception for Tablet!...his question was "AISE HE KHA LOGE" now the pole who would not get it, it was a five star verbiage to understand that without consulting doctor you should take medicine. I have few more to share but..in shorticultural I guess make people happy with smiling faces and to be visible for assistance was their "MISSION" i believe. I am gonna be all time visited for you people,anytime I am here in Palmpur,irrespective of the number of options are around. Thank you for everything guys....kudos ...way to go... it is a convenient place to stay. view from this hotel is awesome. the dhauladha mountaun ranges look very beautiful from the Terese. food quality is also very good. and the MD of the hotel Mr Ramneesh Verma is also a very decent person. great place to stay. wonderful experience.

I find this hotel through its website. Booking experience was excellent as direct contact no. (of Mr. Ramneesh) was given. Mr. Ramneesh was very courteous & sincere and taken care of each & every thing including airport transfer, local travel etc. I was given one of the best room (AC room) of the hotel. All the staffs of the hotel were well mannered and very responsive. The quality of food was excellent with genuine price. The hotel was neat & clean however, staircase needs to be more clean. location wise it was good location as it is very near to city bus stand (approx 600 meters) Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I stayed 2 days here. One day in a room priced at 500/- and the other priced at 400/-. While the location of the hotel, staff's helpfulness were very good the hygiene standards can be improved a lot. I was appalled at the conditions of the toilets. The 500 Rs bathroom was bearable at the best, the 400 Rs bathroom flooring was curved away from the drain and so the water formed a puddle at middle of the room. Wifi is available but worked only in the reception area. When I was there the restaurant was under renovation so no food was available. This is probably the best priced hotel in Palampur but it be a lot better if the rooms and toilets are kept clean.

I found this a good budget hotel for a short stay. There are both deluxe and standard rooms are available. The parking facility is good and wifi is ok. Room service is not good due to lack of staff members but the executive at reception was quite helpful. Security is good since cameras are installed in lobbies.

i have spent many days in this hotel... and i found this place is really very cool and comfortable. even i booked this hotel for some parties and functions too, in really very reasonable prices. the best thing about this hotel is its room facilities, i mean the palampur is not a that much big city but this hotel has all the qualities which i found same in delhi and chandigarh, so whenever i go to palampur i always book this hotel room.... and i always found my visit to palampur really very comfortable

coming from delhi after heavy driving in car....found raj golden lodge....reffered by one of my friend......got stayed there for 3 dayzz it was...really awesome ...managment and staff is too gud...newely counstructed building in the heart of himanchal palampur.....it was really a nice experience in palampur and specially in raj golden lodge...

I decided to give this place an excellent review because of young guy taking care of this place owned by his dad. He was very attentive to the fact he fixed things wrong in the room almost immediately, and it was value for money lodging. The cleanliness is much better than expected although its a lodge. I decided to stay two nights becoz of the pleasant condition with the stay. Palampur was also nice stop in between journey to mcleodganj and pathankot.
