The Solitude Camp is not just another campsite, but a soulful place that gives you access to other-worldly energy. The stream down below adds a great touch to the appeal of the place while the fresh, cool mountain winds are addictive. The hosts are super nice and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended!
Nice place, good host and location is right on the banks of a mountain river. ......lot of day visitors who come for a quick swim. At 500 meters walk there is cafe serving nice tea coffe and starters with some awesome music. Only problem I felt was water supply. Must try this place.
If you really want to stay in NATURE. Solitude Camp is the best place. No words can explain the Views you get from this place. Also totally safe for families. I also stayed with my wife and 6 year old champ. Also FOOD is like - you are cooking at Home. A must visit place
Solitude Camp is one of the best place to rejuvenate yourself in Palampur. Situated amidst the forest, it gives you a feeling of being in Nature in its true sense. Small rivulet nearby to the camp is so beautiful. Camps are neat and clean. Staff is cooperative and take care of your all needs. Owner of the camp Mr. Gagan Sharma is a gem of a person and all their for you. We had a memorable time at Solitude Camp. We would love visit this place again. Thanks for everything guys.
Along with 8 other friends, i wanted to go to an isolated place on the banks of a river to spend some quality time as it was a reunion after few years and we all wanted to make best of it. And we couldn't have chosen a better place. Beautiful location, fun and helpful staff, hygeinic, and the yummy food was cherry or top. How 3 days went by and how We all wished to stay more. If you are looking for a beautiful place with good food and location, i recommend you this place. Camp solitude. We are coming again soon. ❤️
We wanted to enjoy but not get tired in this vacation. The Solitude camp was a perfect location for such a trip. It is located beyond the boundaries of a power plant and adventure starts as soon as you step down your vehicles. You cross a low-flowing river and three cute bamboo bridges to reach there. The guys are amazing in terms of service and any help you might need. They came to receive us at the parking point. It was raining when we reached & they welcomed us with steaming cups of Tea and pakore (fritters). They make amazing food and one thing to be noted- you can't miss the aalu paratha in breakfast (they are yumm). They also have table tennis, cricket kit etc. You can walk by the river and trek in wilderness. Everything was just WOW. Thank You for amazing hospitality.
A charming place to spent a peaceful time in the lap of nature Very good staff and hospitality they have A little walk from parking but its ok as we have to cross a beautiful river to reach solitude camps
Wonderful experience with The Solitude camp . Beautiful location (palampur)near Riverside, ,neat and clean huts & campus.,Delicious Food..astonishing views around the camp. Overall nice experience and great stay.
One can enjoy here the view of mighty Dhauladhar Range with the sip of CHAI, here you will get the chance to connect with nature along with the delicious food and experience great hospitality. Thanks Vijay & Gagan.
To reach this place would require some serious efforts ,but they are worth it ! One has to drive along the narrow mountain road, then walk upwards from Om Hydro Project at Neugal, vehicle can go only uptil here . Walk involves treading on the stones along the khud (stream) ,where one can hear just the guzzling water ,chriping of birds and nothing else ...in December the breeze was crisp and sky was a vivid blue! After crossing few bamboo bridges and climbing up a bamboo ladder ,it is an amazing sight to see the tents set up amidst picturesque surroundings,it is almost a no man's land even for a hill station . We went there for lunch but as it was 31st Dec they were prepping up for New Year's Eve party so the kitchen was closed .However they served us Maggi ,which was delicious. I would like to be back for a stay, one can book directly or via booking.com It is ahead of Vindhyavasini temple before Jakhani mata temple . Not for the elderly or those with balance issues .…
