We were delighted by Le Chardon during our stopover on the way back from skiing. Our room was spotless and comfortable and Rebecca and Nick were the perfect hosts, making us feel completely relaxed and at home. Nicks cooking was exemplary and Rebecca gave some great advice on wine to go with it - but absolutely no pushiness, and the...

Le Chardon is the perfect retreat in wonderful French countryside. The village is quintessentially French. The hotel is comfortable, the food is excellent, and the welcome from the owners is as friendly as you'll ever find! Rebecca and Nick are the perfect hosts-the number of guests who return (including us !) proves the point. A great place for either a...

We stayed i night at Le Chardon. We were made very welcome, the room was clean and neat and the bed comfortable. Parking was easy just across the road. We had a very nice dinner and a good breakfast the next morning. We will definitely stop here again.

The word perennial suggests a yearly visit. In fact we stay at Le Chardon, and have stayed since it opened about 9 years ago, at least 5 times a year. It's because I hold it in such high regard that it I should take the time to review it. By word of mouth, a number of friends have stayed there...

The rooms are charming and well looked after with crisp cotton sheets, exciting shower or bath with bath toys! The hosts are English and a well integrated into...

The hosts are very friendly. Clean room. But no television. Morre B & B then hotel. Jams at breakfast superb. But a pity, they givn't fresh juices but out of a pack. The price of the hotel is a bit too high.

Nick and Rebecca were great hosts. Passionate about the local wine. Great food and great company. If you arrive early enough maybe you will get an opportunity to walk the dog! We loved our time there and would recommend this to all. The local Cremant is amazing.

This is an excellent place for a stop over on your way down to the South of France or even to explore the Burgundy area. The rooms are quiet and simple, but adequate. We enjoyed our dinner very much, Nick is a great cook and Rebecca is a very efficient person taking care of everyone in the dining room. How...
