This small hotel offers a good value for the low pice. The rooms are small and rather spartan, but are very clean, have safes, hot water, and good AC. There was no private balcony, but there is a chair just outside the door. I had room 8 and the wifi worked well there, as it did in the restaurant and at the table outside the office. The staff is very accommodating and as others commented, the breakfasts good and inexpensive.

The pool was a nice feature, the hotel was very secure, and stores, restaurants, and the beach were only a few minutes walk away.

While I was there, there was an educational event in the vacant lot next door which was quite noisy, but I don't know that the owners could do much about that or the loud motos that seem to buzz by all night,

So long as you know that this is a no-frills place to stay, you won't be disappointed.

There are only a few rooms in this little hotel, so it feels very quiet and cosy. We stayed there for 3 nigts. the room was very simple and could be refurbished, the bed is quite small for 2 people. However there is air-conditioning, fan, fridge, wardrobe with a safe. There were power blackouts quite often, but the generátor immediately started. The pool area is lovely, outside restaurant also very good for breakfast. The staff were all very nice, dont really speak English, but that is normal in Dominican Republic. The owners are very nice French couple, they answered every question we had and also gave us useful local tips.

We stayed in Boca Chica for a couple nights. We weren't overly impressed with the town, but the hotel was a nice spot to be! We got an upstairs room, which was nice for any breeze that came through. We had AC, though, which worked like a champ. Good wi-fi, hot showers, and a restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. The pool was out of commission while we were there. It's a couple blocks off the main street where there are lots of shops and restaurants, and is a short walk to the beach. The owners were very nice, and do a great job keeping the place looking nice!

I'm sorry but this place looks more like a Motel than a Hotel, rooms a small, no tv in them, so you would just have to be on the street all day waisting money. cause the place is dead.
we also had four rooms with no ac only a ceiling fan.
while on the strip at night with my friends we came back around 2am, the owners wife came out telling us to be quiet, that it was late and that they had other guess. WHAT?? naww, yes. i guess you get what you pay for, its only good to shower and sleep.

I stayed here for three days. I was picked up at the airport at midnight through the hotel for a reasonable price. The French owners are extremely nice and helpful, as was the other staff. The rooms are nothing exciting, but they have good beds, AC and hot water. There was no TV, but that was not on the top of my list. The grounds are nice, with greenery and a swimming pool.

Breakfast was very good, and there were many choices. Security is excellent. You are one block away from the main drag, and two blocks to the beach. I just walked barefoot to go swim in the water and not have to worry about carrying things.

It is really hard to beat this hotel for the excellent value and location.

I ve been vacationing in Boca Chica for 6 years twice yearly and have stayed in several hotels in the area including the all inclusive ones. Casa Coco has been my exclusive stay for the last 4 years. Great location, close to everything. Helpful and friendly owners and staff. Good security, Wi-Fi-AC and more, all a reasonable price. Noel and Victoria.

Inexpensive nice place to stay. The owners are friendly and nice, security is good and its walking distance to all of Boca Chica. Wifi is spotty, overall you can't beat the price, rooms are basic and bathrooms are also don't expect the 4 seasons. There is no TV so if thats what you're going to the DR for then find another place to stay. Privacy is good and other then the local motor bikes it was pretty peaceful.

The room: Clean, small but good for a night or two, beds are hard but ok 30$ a night
owners: very friendly and nice
Breakfast: complete and affordable for extra little fee.
Pool: Small but clean
Bathroom: curtain was dirty, water was leaking but at least the toilet flushed! hahaha!
In general it was a nice place with great owners from France.
They are nice easy going people

The location in Boca Chica is perfect.

for a budget traveller I would say yes for a short stay for one or two people!
