In a gloomy city and without much interest, this hotel remains an excellent option. Charming, decorated with unusual objects, it is well located at the end of the busy street, very good price, including breakfast. Room unpretentious, but clean. I recommend.

Great hotel just opposite the bars and restaurants at the beachside. The staff is very friendly and helps you with every Information needed. Rooms are clean and big enough to have a comfortable stay. There is a beautiful terrace at the first floor with a jacuzzi and several tables, slightely hidden between palm trees. On the ground floor you'll find a pool too which also includes a waterfall which is amazlng.
All the hotel is deep dived into green plants everywhere which gives a really jungle-feeling !

The atmosphere is pleasant and the place is clean. The service is very slow. I only had a ravioli dish. It was delicious. No bartender so I had to teach the server how to make a vodka tonic. Really?? Not on the beach. It is a hotel also but nobody answers the phone.

This boutique hotel was basic but a very nice small hotel with good food and service. Nicole and Emma were sweet and made sure I was happy. Close to the beach and walking distance to everything. I researched several before choosing this hotel and found only good reviews. I will certainly return. It has an downstairs and upstairs pool with a nice patio.

We stayed at the Batey hotel for 1 night after spending a week at an all-inclusive resort. It is not fair to judge them compared to a large resort...I will try to be objective in this review.

The good:
- the resort seems safe.
- the Valenzuelan girl at the front desk was wonderful!
- the art is great
- close proximity to the airport.

The bad:
- The bed did not have sheets. I did not have confidence the blanket was washed regularly.
- As other reviewers have mentioned, there was loud music going on very late. We experienced 2 women screaming right outside our door.
- A local guy (Cesaer) wanted to be our 'guide to Boca Chica'. He ruthlessly hassled...wanted to show us this restaurant or that gift shop. He would not leave us alone. We did not want his help. It got to the point my wife did not feel comfortable leaving the hotel.

This is such a cute little hotel, with a bar right across the street which we had a great time at. Love the art and hammocks on the hotel property. Very basic accommodations, but pretty and clean. No complaints!

The place is really basic. Not bad but not great. The problem is the attitude of the receptionist. She not only has a bad attitude she is aggressive and tries to scams guest with whatever she can (exchange rates, fines for checking in late etc). Bad choice. Everyone is really friendly but that was not a good experience.

I stayed at this hotel for one night passing through Boca Chica. Everything was convenient and clean. the room I had smelled a bit of smoke, but everything was working and well appointed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. This hotel is not on the beach but very close to the beach (on the other side of a small road). The pool was small and not worth getting wet in. There are plenty of places to eat and a disco adjacent to the property. I stayed on a Friday night and thought things might get a bit noisy. There was a noticeable vibration from the beat of the music but generally not to the extent that I could not sleep. Probably not the location for you if you are a light sleeper. I paid $60 for the night which is about average for a hotel of this type. Overall this hotel is good, rather than average or very good.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, every day provided two bottles of water, good wifi. Hotel has very good restaurant with very broad regular menu. Breakfast was also good with 5-6 dishes for your choice. Customer service was very nice.
