We had a very pleasant week here. The breakfasts are amazing and the staff can not do enough for you. The hotel is situated on the banks of a river and we had beautiful views from our balcony. The hotel wasn't particularly busy so they did not have the dining room open in the evenings which was a bit inconvenient....

The rooms are arranged around a 3-story atrium with interesting old decorations, lots of wood (Ottoman style), a fountain, and a soundtrack of atmospheric music that fortunately is turned off at night but that otherwise you can hear from inside your room unless you wear headphones and drown it out. I was very happy with my room (1st floor), the...

We have just returned from 10 days at this hotel and can only praise everything about it. The location is spot on - anyone who knows Akayaka you will find it with the Azmak River running at the bottom of the grounds. Very peaceful and yet only a 10 minute walk into the centre of the bars and restaurants. The...

Hotel management is non-existent. The hotel is run by young, inexperience, untrained staff, with little English.. The pool was cleaned when a guest complained after 1 week. The following day the pool was dirty, with yellow fungus. The grounds are badly maintained. There is no electrical maintenance. Fire was caused by a faulty air conditioning unit. The decking area is...

A very striking hotel with a grand design but do not stay in duplex rooms if you dislike hot bedrooms as the air conditioning does not get to the duplex bedroom. Also the stairs to the bedroom are very steep so do not choose the duplex if you need to go to the loo at night. However the main problem...

This is a very nice hotel, in a good location a 5 minute stroll from Akyaka. It is in a lovely setting with the gardens leading down to a picturesque river. The rooms are nice with very traditional design, but if you go for on of the rooms with the bedroom on the mezzanine beware as it gets quite hot...

I stayed here for 2 nights on as part of a work trip, The staff went out of there way to help and were very friendly. The room we were given was a duplex, which was lovely but a bit of a pain at night when you needed the loo as it had an open wooden staircase. The pool was...

We stayed in the Ottoman Residence at the end Sept/beg of Oct for two weeks. The weather was beautiful at this time of year although it could be slightly cool by the river at the restaurants (but more about those later). This is lovely looking hotel and the staff around the pool/bar/restaurant were very helpful. We stayed in a Duplex...

There is a sister holel The Ottman Kanak a further 5 minutes walk along the river. This is a more ornate hotel with 4 poster beds. You will be made most welcome in here and usually a free cup of...
