Detailed Reviews
Excellent venue for Krishna's devotees as it is inside the ISKCON, Vrindavan. Since it is a guest house so hotel facilities like TV, fridge etc. should not be expected. These are basic rooms but the main advantage is the location. One can participate in Tulsi aarti in the morning to shyan aarti at night and other programs easily. GITA classes in Prabhupad House must be attended by one and all. GOVINDA restaurent on the ground floor provides excellent food to devotees. The charges are diferent for ISKCON members and non-members. Availability is difficult during festivals.

We stayed this place from December 15th to 17th for 2 nights. Our room was 226.
It's a good place for stay. As this is Temple so you will not get all other facilities like Tv in your room.
But room was clean. specious. 3 beds in room which was comfortable to stay with my 2 kids and wife.
Hot water facility was there for 24X7 as we were in winter time where outside Temp was 6.
I will suggest others to stay this place if they want to pass some time peacefully in spiritual way.

It is a very nice place to stay if you enjoy to be most of the day in the temple. I am not a Krishna devotee but somehow I liked the environment, always full of energy and surprises. The food in the restaurant was great.
On the negative side, it is quite difficult to sleep since it is very noisy, someone was playing a rhythmic instrument until late on the night near my window, and you will also listen quite close the bell in the temple during the night, cannot remember how many times.
That being said, I would recommend to sleep there if you are in Vrindavan.

Great Temple and it was so convenient to be able to just walk so easily to the morning Temple programs. The restaurant was excellent and had great vegetarian American food available. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I stayed 02.08.2022-04.08.2022 (two nights) in "Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Guest House" in room type "Triple EP PG". We booked for 4 adults and one child of 14 years, which we specified during the booking itself.
I have been to many ISKCON establishments in the world especially in Europe. This is one of the reasons, i chose this place for accommodation, as this is inside the ISKCON temple premise and i thought it will be professional management in the line of ISKCON. I did not find it as per my expectation due to following reasons:
- I reached there around 21:00 Hrs on 02.08.2022. There was nobody at reception. We waited around 15 minutes in the lobby for somebody to appear, in between i asked also one of the staff in the adjacent restaurant, which the person replied that somebody will come soon. I find this is reasonable as we are late in evening. What is not acceptable and unprofessional is the personality of the reception-person who appears after some time. He came with a bread in one hand and talking with us with mouth-full in very impolite manner. He is eating all the time while talking.
- The shocking was, that he told that the room which we booked has only a double bed and a single bed. I told him that we booked the booked the room for 4 adult and a child. On the webpage the room is advertised for 4 adult and 2 children. He was so adamant and treating us like illiterate like he himself and telling us that we booked the same room, it does not matter, what is advertised.
- At this point i became frustrated, as it was long journey from Germany to there, and i told him to call his manager or somebody. I did not want to argue with him any longer. Then came a Gentleman, whom i found sensible and he understood the problem and also acknowledges that the advert on website is not correct. Anyway we managed somehow to sleep with one mattress on floor and three person on double bed.
- Near the door of the room, there was smell of rotten milk. I found it later that there was a dustbin near to the door of the room and somebody throw milk in that, which got rotten.
- On the first day this reception man had taken my one one of the identity document for photocopy, which he never bother to return. The fault is also on my side, as i forgot to ask due to another problem with accommodating 5 persons.
- In the morning, i always found this reception person sleeping on the chair at reception, which does not look at all good. There are many other small things, i found with this person very problematic and unprofessional, which i do not want to go in detail.
Some positives:
- As the property is inside the ISKCON temple, the location is perfect, who visits Vrindavan for spiritual purposes.
- After checkout i called them to destroy my identity document, which they never returned, and send me the video while destroying, which they promptly did.

It is nice temple, with beautiful Dieties. There is nice bhajan going one there 24/7. Its very prominant and busy temple with lot of activities, restaurants, seminars, workshops, festivals. It's a loud and vibrant place so if u are looking for peaceful meditative time in the mid day or early afternoon it is quiet and nice to be there or in the later evening aratic before the Dieties go to rest. :)

This place is located in city center. Rates are not very expensive. Good for bag packers. Front office was good, well decorated and staff was friendly. Room was small in size but was very clean. There was free drinking water available in the room. There was lots of eating and shopping places around this place.
