Het huis an zich is erg mooi en leuk ingericht. De verhuurders zijn erg betrokken en attent. Delen ook allerlei tips over de omgeving. Echter; het huisje stond zeer afgelegen en er was amper verlichting. Ze zijn op het terrein nog aan t bouwen zodat er overdag allerlei werklui bezig waren. Verlichting en parkeerplaatsen moeten nog aangelegd worden. Het is erg fris zodat de open haard op gas die er was wel welkom was. Alleen kon die niet aan, omdat dan meteen de hele kamer blauw stond.

When we first arrived we had difficulty getting the lock to work, and were only able to get in through the sliding glass doors. We continued to have trouble with the lock and it would usually take 3 or 4 tries before it would work. Sometimes we just had to leave the door unlocked because we were afraid to be locked out of the unit, however this felt unsafe. We only had an email address for the owner, and there was no response to our concerns during our entire stay. We should have been given a phone number for more timely communication but none was provided. The duplex seemed new and was attractive and modern. We had the second floor unit with vaulted ceilings which was lovely. Unfortunately the master bedroom was open at ceiling height to the bathroom and living room/kitchen so there was a lack of privacy since voices and other noises carried through the space. It was nice to have two bedrooms as well as a kitchen and living room. Coffee was available which was nice in the morning, and a bottle of sparkling wine was a nice touch. The bedrooms were tiny and there were no closets, with very little floor space we hardly had any room for our suitcases. We stayed two nights in this apartment with 4 people, however only 3 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and no washcloths were provided. Our request for more towels went unanswered. We could hear music from the first floor unit below. It is very windy where this duplex is located, and the wind literally howled all night long both nights. It also gets cold at night and there is no climate control. With more responsiveness from the owner, a working lock, and more towels this would have been a very nice place to stay.
