Loved this place. Breakfast is included and has everything you want: rice, beans, eggs, pancakes, cereal, oj, coffee, and toast. Views are top notch. Surprisingly, they have this nature preserve/trail which contained more monkeys than San Manual Antonio National Park. Rooms are fairly Spartan, but beds are comfortable, shower is warm, and Monteverde isn't a place you want to stay...

I couldn't believe the view this hotel has, it is absolutely stunning. The hotel rooms are pretty isolated, all you can hear are birds and crickets at night, it was the best sleep of my life. Also, did I mention this hotel is a reservE? They have a lot of private hiking trails, one which leads to a waterfall (photo...

Monteverde Inn is a self contained property with good food, a great staff, and private walking trails. But if you want, it is close to town. The rooms are basic but comfortable. It has wifi and is free from other electronic intrusions.

The hotel is outside of the city so if you are looking to escape and be out in nature, this is the place for you. The property is set up like cabins which is cute. However, the walls are thin so I heard my neighbors talking loudly late into the night. The owner is really nice and all the staff...

Lovely place, beautiful location with excellent walking trails that are maintained to a very high standard with amazing viewing platforms. Rooms were basic but clean and the shower was hot.The vegetarian quesadillas were amazing, I had them at least once a day! Only gave it 4 because the weather was atrocious whilst we were there and we were freezing and...

The property is incredibly, yet the place feels small and homely. They have several on-site hiking trails, including some fairly challenging ones, that lead to incredibly breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, waterfalls, a variety of natural fauna and even a hammock garden. The rooms are actually set up cabin style.. Ours had two floors, each with it's own balcony/...

I stayed with my gf for 3 nights here at Monteverde Inn/Villa Escondido after spending 3 nights each in La Fortuna and Tamarindo. Monteverde is a place for hiking and appreciating Costa Rica's rain forest and wildlife. Our stay in Monteverde Inn was relaxing as it can be. Jonah, the owner manages his property extremely well. The property is inside...

We spent 4 days here and were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place was, the service was excellent and the food in restaurant was amazing (quesadilla's especially good). The rooms are spacious, the showers are hot and the beds are comfy. I would encourage anyone staying here to take advantage of the trails connected to the inn. The trail...

A beautiful, laid-back, magical inn . . . we had a room with an astonishing sunset view over the Gulf of Nicoya. The food in the cafe was excellent and the staff were cheerful and helpful. Best of all is the setting, within a surprisingly large and beautiful private preserve. The owner is working hard to make the place truly...

This is the 3rd time that I visited Monteverde inn and it gets better and better. In my opinion this is one of the best value and soul spots in Monteverde! The new rooms are excellent with great showers and enough to keep you warm. The little restaurant is very good with great view! The staff is really helpfull and...
