Hard bed, dirty walls with liquid splashed across them. The walls were so thin that the couple talking next door kept us awake all night until the guy started snoring, and then we had to hear that all night. At 5am the next morning, we woke up to the sound of a baby screaming above us. The hotel operators gave...

These guys are really helpful. The staff walk you through your visit in Monteverde. The place is peaceful, and it's convenient. It is 10 minutes walking distance from the main center. Privacy could be a concern though because the walls are thin.

Well, the staff are very friendly and helpful....., but that's about where it ends, and I guess you get what you pay for. This is basically a backpackers hotel with absolute minimal amenities. Our room (303) had no windows (except 2 one-foot-square ones on the door with no curtain that anyone over 5'-10" passing by could easily see through -...

Nice place, Friendly guys working there, room was nice with apart from one thing, All the Pictures were Diagonal at 45 degrees!, I had to put them all straight/horizontal as it irritating me! Place was clean and tidy and shower was warm, Laundry was a little expensive in my opinion. Breakfast was good, apart from for some reason not having...

This place was great. Not only were the staff friendly and accommodating, but the location was fantastic. We were even able to wake up to monkeys and wildlife outside of our patio door. The complementary typical Costa Rican breakfast was also very tasty. The brothers that own the place were also VERY helpful with giving us recommendations and making sure...

This hotel was incredible. The owners were really friendly and accommodating and the room was large with big windows, and clean with monkeys visiting us on the porch daily. Also gave great advice when it came to different tour options in Monteverde. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Upon check in, hosts were EXTREMELY Helpful and informative. When we showed interest in a particular activity, they gave input and offered to place a call for reservations. No air conditioning in room, however, not needed..the nights are very cool in the mountains. The accommodations were very simple, but clean; just what we needed for a one night stay. Breakfast...

We stayed for three nights after being upgraded to an apartment. The place is one of our favourites so far, 15 minutes walk to town (albeit steep!) and with views directly into forest where we saw monkeys, birds, squirrels, etc. It's very tranquil at night. The guys who own the place are extremely friendly, helpful and informative. We've loved it...

Situated a little way up from the town (you need a taxi to get up and down the hill really) but a good quality hotel. Rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. Other facilities available in the communal area. Secure and safe location, however, our door did not lock properly and actually blew open with heavy winds one night...

Nice small place in the mountains. The owners are 3 brothers and they are extremely nice. They make you feel welcomed. We stayed 2 nights. Our family room was spacious, the only thing is that the room does not have curtains because it faces the woods so in the morning the light hits your face. Bunkbed needs a little adjusting...
