My husband and I had a very special time at Villa Isidro. This hotel is a relaxing place with a very nice atmosphere at the heart of San Isidro. Incredible garden and fabulous food, not only breakfast and dinner but also tea time were outstanding. The room was also beautiful and the staff really helpful. A hotel to go back.
Nice rooms in a beautiful neighborhood and very good service! I would definitely come back. Beautiful garden with heated swimming pool. Good breakfast! Small Spa facilities. We can only recommend this place!
The hotel is very small and mentioned as by others has a very cosy flair. The room was spacious and traditionally furnished, the breakfast with a very limited choice. Sometimes the wifi did not work but i could connect to a second wifi lane. Close by are enough ATMs, kioscs, or little cafes. I highly recommend "Margarita"- a pizza/empanada place at mayo 25- the best empanadas i have eaten for a long time!!
Stayed here for six nights. Good size rooms with view on the pool and garden. Many nice restaurants nearby. Nice craft beer pub on the conner. About 23 km from downtown Buenos Aires. By taxi about one hour. Friendly staff. Not far from the river. Nice area.
This place is a good option for a romantic gateway from the crouded, busy and always noisy Buenos Aires city. The hotel is well located, just a minutes from important spots of San Isidro (Cathedral, restaurants area, etc). It's very quiet and peaceful, the backyard has an outdoor but still climatized swimming pool. If you are a couple looking for spending 1-2 days (1 night) for a relaxing/romantic weekend, you could consider staying here. This was our case. The staff were friendly and very kind. Excellent attention. CONS:We didn't have lunch/dinner. Breafkast was ok, but they did not have croissants (very common item here), and muffins were not fresh at all (we guessed they were there since a few days ago).
Very well located in San Isidro with walking distance from the center of town and also many good restaurants on Libertador. Not far from the River or the Club Atletico San Isidro and the Cathedral, it is the perfect spot for a relaxing stay in Zona Norte. The hotel staff is very friendly and the garden/pool area is ideal for a late afternoon reading and swimming session. The rooms are very nice, nothing fancy but comfortable with TV and mini fridge. The breakfast was very good, dinner was a bit disappointing, but it is far more recommendable to go out to eat.
This hotel is a comfortable, quiet hotel in a good location on Avenida Del Libertador so easy walking distance to some really good restaurants (I liked Kansas). The hotel is very small and feels a little like staying in someone's house. The rooms and public areas are very well looked after. Breakfast is simple but more than enough choice. The only major issue is the wifi signal which is very poor in some of the upstairs areas. I pointed this out several times and the staff said they needed to bet a new signal booster. Why they didn't take the 30 minutes to get to a store and get one is still not clear to me. Its a simple fix. Would stay again if they fix the wifi!
Close to all necessities in San Isidro. I would prefer garden facing rooms since Libertador street cobble stone street can be noisy. Quoting of rooms was not too clear, but stay was overall pleasant. Great option if you want to stay in a colonial setting and far from city center.
At Villa Isidro you are in for a memorable treat! It is located in central San Isidro, close to local shops, cafes, restaurants and with easy access to public transport (both bus and train). It is extremely clean, well kept and has spa facilities and a yummy breakfast buffet included in the service. As if all of this was not enough to make your stay a memorable one ... the staff went beyond any standard requirements to make sure my needs were met at all times, and they did this always with a smile. Thank you Guillermo, Agustin, Mora, Daniela (plus those whose names escape me at this time) for treating me like a queen and making me feel like family! My stay was a magical one, and I will return ... that’s a promise!
Actually not far at all, but with a bedroom on the garden side, and the dining room also giving on to the garden, it's easy to forget that on the entrance side of this small hotel is the busy Avenida Libertador in the bustling suburban San Isidro. A real oasis! Garden and pool are on the north side of the building so bright all day long .... as are the bedrooms all of which on that side have balconies or direct access to the terrace and garden. Bedrooms are not large, and the bathrooms smaller, but all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay are complimented by an ever-helpful staff. Breakfast is delicious. Different style to the nearby Hotel Casco but equally welcoming.
