A beautiful ressort with a pool, about one km distant from a beautiful beach. It is possible to book halfboard or full board. Very kind people. There is a shuttle to the beach, but it is recommended to have your own car for more flexibility.
We have owned Timeshare for 30 years and have made exchanges all over the world i.e. Australia, New Zealand, USA, Caribbibean and Europe and have never ever stayed in an apt that was so poorly equipped, there was no microwave, kettle or toaster and cooking dishes. wine glasses or even washing up liquid provided. The staff could not speak English except for one on the reception desk, it was orientated to Italians. It was our first time in Italy and will never go there again. We had to buy some cooking dishes and glasses. They had the audacity to charge us 40 euros per week for a ground floor apartment and then a further 35 euros each per week for their club which was to use the swimming pool and the transport to the beach neither which we used, we have never had to pay these charges before. We will never go to Italy again. Do …
Great place for families Wonderful location if you have a car. So many beautiful towns nearby. Free shuttle to nearby beach. Terrific and helpful staff. Excellent restaurants nearby. The pool and a beautiful and clean, clean, clean.
Everything is nice around, people, beach, resort in the part belonging to the CDS is ok , the RCI part is really not the same level. The resort has been awarded as resort of international dinstinction but not sure about the criteria used. It looks an agglomerate of apartments where the best is the hotel, anyway not at the level it should be with the potential it looks like to have.
We had one week in this resort. Check in was quick and the staff friendly and helpful.. The resort is well maintained throughout. However on arrival you will be asked to pay 30 Euros per person per week ( might be more in high season) for the amenities. These are: 1. The use of the pool! ( no towels provided for this charge) 2. The resort bus to the beach.....we had our own car. Why wait for its irregular and bumpy ride? 3. Use of the private beach, bar and beach furniture.. 1 deck chair and I sunbed per couple. If you want two of the same this might be problem. 4. Use of children's playground and sports facilities 5 Entertainment which is round the pool and in the garden area in high season. This can go on to midnight. The back of the resort is quieter. In other resorts many of these extras are included. Units near the pool will be noisy..Ask for one in the 40's . The unit has no microwave (in this day and age) and just 4 old fashioned gas rings. We had to buy two cups as the ones provided were minute coffee cups. Electrical sockets unusual. Not the continental two pin but a flat three pin in two thicknesses. The beach is fine bu the town of Lido Marina is rather grim. Loads of concrete houses with badly pot holed roads (as with all of Italy at the moment which is an additional hazard to the usual appalling Italian. drivers. Nowhere decent to eat...try the lovely little restaurant in Pressice. three course for 16 Euros. in the town square.…
This is a lovely part of Italy. The resort was very well kept and the staff were very helpful. The accommodation was small for 4 adults and we did have to share rooms. There were bunk beds off the living area with a room divider so not a lot of privacy for 4 adults but if it was a couple with young children then it would be fine. It was clean and well kept. No kettle or microwave but there was a safe and hairdryer. There was a free shuttle to the beach but they did try to charge extra for sunbeds as we needed 4 and apparently only one sunbed and one deckchairs per room, they did eventually agree to us not paying for this. We were there the third week in September and there was very little entertainment. No dancing only games on the beach. The pool looked good but we didn't see anyone using it as the sea was so lovely. Golden beach with no stones or seaweed, it was very calm waters and shallow a long way out so felt safe for less confident swimmers. We only ate breakfast at the hotel once and they were accommodating but not used to British appetites, the receptionist had advised them we were British and needed eggs and bacon, which was kind and they did attempt to arrange this for us but generally it's more of a continental breakfast. The town was close by but very quite, if you want more than a handful of shops and restaurants then you would need a car to get out and about. The food seemed to be good everywhere we tried. The opening times take a bit of getting used to. Most things close between 1pm and 6pm even supermarkets so check out opening times before you head out. Generally a nice place with lovely beach, helpful staff. If you are looking for entertainment or excitement check if the season is still open and hire a car.…
This European style resort was perfect for my wife and I. Our accommodations were small but very efficient. My wife love shopping at local grocery stores and cooking Italian style meals. However...the staff was outstanding at all levels even though this was last week of this resort’s season!
The pool is far to deep for family with small children can not swim when the lifeguard is not there he was there from 9 to 1 and from 4 to 6 no kettle in apt no mugs for tea had to go and buy some would not go back there
We stayed for a week as part of our RCI membership whilst travelling through Italy. We were warmly greeted by a very busy and organised Reception. Our unit has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom and a lovely ground floor deck for outside eating. It is located around 10 minutes walk to the beach and they provide ongoing shuttle services throughout the day to the beach. The walk is lovely through the local village shops. There are plenty of small market shops selling basic supplies along with meat, fish and vegetables. There are many little cafes and the area is lively in the evenings but closes between 1.30 and around 4.30 for siesta. The buildings and grounds are well maintained and pretty. The strip of beach has beautiful sand and clear sea and as part of our accommodation deal we were provided with a deck chair, sun lounge, table and umbrella for the whole week. The cost of this was 30 Euro per person and included the shuttle bus, lifeguards who look after the beach area and keep it all clean and tidy. The restaurant on the beach run by the hotel is glorious and serves a delicious antipasto dish for 8 Euro that was plenty for 2 people. This is very much a venue for families with children. There is beach entertainment with young leaders running sessions which continue into the evening. The restaurant is huge and caters for all meals with a large selection of buffet style foods at a set price. We chose to self cater and it was a nice break from restaurant eating as we were travelling for 4 months. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was adequate although very basic and the TV was not much larger than our laptop and only had Italian language programs. Most families enjoyed the entertainment for the children in the evenings and we were surprised the outdoor live entertainment continued each night until midnight. Whilst there are buses along local routes, the schedule for summer was discontinued from September 1 so it limited our exploring since we were dependent on local transport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. …
We had the unfortunate experience in this potentially nice location. Expectations were high but disappointed on all areas apart from kid friendly staff and ok food lunch and dinner. Terrible small apartments, overprized and old and on top facing constant noice from poor entertainment and a strict regime of non-negotiable timetables incl. No options for late check out. Poor hotel, location and concept - better off staying at home
