Only stopped one night but really enjoyed. Lovely comfy large room overlooking the glen. Lovely friendly welcome from Lin Muirhead and excellent breakfast . Highly recommended. Idyllic situation close to Blair Atholl Castle and the Pass of Killiekrankie

We stayed at Ptarmigan House for a one night stopover in summer 2015. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a large sitting area. The breakfast with a selection of cold and cooked foods was very delicious. The hostes are very friendly and helpful. We can really recommend this b&b.

Cannot commend Ptarmigan House highly enough! My aunt and I spent 2 nights here (22&23rd Oct). It is a lovely house which is scrupulously clean and very comfortable, in a beautiful setting. The food is excellent and the owners could not have been more helpful - it was a pleasure to stay here, and we would certainly hope to return!

What a fantastic place Ptarmigan House is, set in the most stunning of scenery. Lynn and Gordon are the most welcoming of hosts, we had a great insist into the world of winter sports. The breakfast was really yummy. We would totally recommend staying here. See you next year if not before.

I came across this guest house on the Internet and their website gave a good impression of the house. Upon reaching the road going into Blair you can see a large domineering farmhouse in the distance, this turned out to be the Ptarmigan Guest House. Upon parking up I was greeted with a cuddle from the Lady of the house...

We found this guesthouse by accident. The owners are interesting and helpful. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was just right. It was a nice location away from the town center. They also steered us towards The Loft, which was a great restaurant.

Only in Kyoto, Japan have I seen one establishment relay customers to another establishment without competitive hindrance that costs both the customer and fellow workers in the same field their gain. I have now seen it again in Scotland. We had requested a room, but there was only the cottage available, which was great! They asked us to confirm, but...

Arrived late in evening without reservation and hosts made a really big effort to accommodate me despite being very busy. Comfortable night, friendly, very clean and would be happy to recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.

I randomly chose Blair Atholl Ada transit stop, during my short rail tour around Scotland. It is a small village, with very little happening after daytime activities have closed. This was my second choice, as my first, the well reviewed Firs Guest House, didn't reply to my enquiry quickly enough. I walked past it on my way to Ptarmigan House...

We have found this place quite late at night., but the owner made everything to make us feel comfortable. The rooms were clean and nicely designed. In the morning we had big breakfast. There was a beautiful castle nearby.
