My walking partner and I arrived on day 13 of 15 of a coast to coast walk and were dripping wet with muddy boots. I walked across to the counter and introduced myself , Caroline's 1st words were " Would you like a cup of tea?". Gareth took us to our rooms and said get dry and we can do...

Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to meet you and, of course, what else do you need after a long and wet walk - a cup of Yorkshire tea! We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

On arrival we were made to feel very welcome, the complimentary cuppa went down a treat. Parking is provided at the rear of the property. Our room was lovely, very spacious with a good size en suite. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. We will definitely be making another visit soon. Thankyou Gareth and Caroline for making us...

We stopped for coffee in this tea room because we were with friends who always stop here when they come onto the moor. It was an excellent choice. The lady, who served us, was friendly and had a beautiful smile which couldn't help make you feel welcome. I had coffee but everyone else in the party had Yorkshire Tea and...

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are pleased to hear that you had an enjoyable time in the tearoom and sampled the tea and cakes. The cake choice that you made was from the selection of Gluten Free cakes that we serve everyday. At present all the cakes are homemade apart from the gluten free ones. This is because,...

My partner and I had taken the parents to the Ryedale Folk Museum and although we thoroughly enjoyed our day the inclement and unseasonal weather meant we ended up frozen and soaked!!! We were directed to The Barn where we were delighted to be welcomed by a lovely log burner, very friendly and accommodating owners and really tasty food! We...

The first thing that hits you is the location in the village of Hutton-le-Hole overlooking the village green. A beautiful setting on the southern edge of the national park and an excellent centre for touring the park and the surrounding area. There was good parking to the rear. The welcome was warm and friendly. The room was clean, tidy and...

Had a trip out to Farndale to see the daffodils with my wife and 94 year old Mother as a belated Mothers day treat for my Mother. Sadly a bit to late for the daffs so visited Hutton le Hole to get a bite to eat. We came across The Barn Guest House and Tea Rooms and what a lovely...

I found The Barn on tripadvisor when we were looking to book our September 2016 holiday. What a find. The Owners Caroline and Gareth were very welcoming and I had mentioned when booking that it was a belated honeymoon for my husband and I. A nice touch in the room - a chilled bottle of fizz. Lovely touch. The room...

We regularly frequent the barn on our weekend rides, the staff are great, nothing is ever too much, always polite and welcoming. Today just confirmed this, the cafe was closed for cleaning but the owner saw us and came out to chat, next think she invited us in for coffee and teacakes! Spectacular service. Good to Hutton-Le-Hole and make sure...
