There is a big difference between living and travelling. While travelling you enjoy short duration in a city/town but you miss the comfort of home type living environment. Amazing accommodations was started to bridge this gap and provide accommodations where you feel as if you live there rather than just travelling. Most travellers are not happy staying in hotels because of ridiculously high charges for internet usage, Expensive meals in the hotel restaurants, no option for self-cooking, No Access to Full size Fridge . On top of that when you call to change your reservation, you always speak to a different person and you need to repeat yourself again and again. Amazing Accommodations was started keeping in mind all of the above issues. All the Amazing Accommodations apartments come with free wifi internet, a kitchen with kitchenette, Full size Fridge, TV, Washing Machine , Dryer etc. to make you feel at home.

My 17 yo daughter and I stayed over Christmas and New year. Spacious apartment for two with what you would need for a self catering room, washer, dryer, dishwasher, air con and WiFi. Fantastic balcony views of Melbourne. We both felt safe in the apartment block. Great location for local amenities, restaurants, public transport and parking. We arrived late Xmas eve mindful nothing open the next day. Fortunately my eldest who is currently residing in Melbourne ensured we had essentials, milk, bread, wine etc and the apartment decorated Christmassy. I’m nor sure why special requests was asked when booking as this seemed to be forgotten/missed. We need to call to request fresh towels, daily housekeeping was extra, but it would have been in the best interests of all for a quick cleanup/ vacuum mid stay. There was limited information provided about the local area, parking and in emergencies (no fire evacuation instructions) or what to do with rubbish. Phone number provided for anything if you are able to use your phone abroad. ideally some local leaflets, take away menus, closing times and transport links could have been provided. Recommend location.

We had to change accommodation last minute, and found this one on airbnb. Staff were very accommodating and met us to check in at 9pm, it was a late check in but staff member still met us with a smile and was VERY welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean. affordable price. great location. and overall good atmosphere.

The swimming pool and hot pool were amazing. Best swimming pool I've ever encountered, actually. The gym seemed quite large and well used but I didn't use it.
There was lots to like about the apartment, but lots not to like too. Eg no dish cloth or can opener but 18 plastic pot plants and bunches of flowers! The bedroom was fine for just me but barely a foot either side of the bed and the bedside table was tiny. I couldn't get the wifi working.
On the good side, the location is marvellous both for public transport and shopping.
The welcome is pretty much non-existent as the building is locked and the special reception area next door never seemed to be open. You have to phone to connect with a person. There is no compendium in the room to explain how the property works. There were security and maintenance issues.
My booking through an airline said "limited room service", which suits me fine. What it actually meant was "We've set the room up for you and now there is no service at all." I didn't discover that until day five when I rang to find out when the rubbish would be collected etc. Be careful with this as they charge a lot of money to do anything, like provide clean towels. There weren't even enough tea bags to have one each day of my stay and it averaged AU$132 a night!
Much as I loved the location and pool, I probably won't stay there again.

We are frequent travellers and have stayed in numerous hotels/apartments over the years - and our experience at Amazing Accommodations would have to be one of the worst. Unlike their photos or sales spiel, the apartment was awful - barely furnished, poorly maintained and not cleaned properly - we hated the smell of stale curry that permeated throughout the apartment. One of the worst aspect of our experience was the total lack of care by the unprofessional owner/operator. To cut a long story short, steer clear of this place!

asked me to book outside airbnb and end up with terrible experience, tried to cheat me for 200 aud deposit , rude phone calls and useless threats. dont ever book outside any travel website. their modus operandi to get people book directly with them and they dont give you any invoice , cleaning service etc. avoid avoid avoid

My wife and I stayed there for 04 nights and it was a good experience for us.
We were contacted by the In charge while we were still at the airport to confirm with us about our Check In time(which we really appreciated after a 13 hrs flight). We reached the Hotel and we were met by the receptionist who escorted us to the room(without going through the tiring check in process of Hotels)! The room(executive studio) was nice and equipped with all amenities like Washing machine,fridge,stove-So if you are staying for along term you are sorted! We had a good view of the city from the balcony(4th floor). Lots to do around from shopping to eating out or to have a drink. We will definitely Amazing Accommodation next time we visit Melbourne !

Exceptional and personal service, our flight was delayed by 3 hours so we arrived just before midnight, Amy greeted us with a smile and was very kind and accommodating. She ensured we were looked after each day. There are great social areas on the rooftop of the apartment complex with 360 views of Melbourne and two hot tubs! The location is just off busy Chapel St but our room was quiet and private. Close walk to everything and a great Japanese bikers club below that have amazing activities. Fernanda held our luggage for us with no issues and gave us a personal farewell. Loved it :)

Had a nice and fuss free stay here over 12 nights. Hosts were prompt and responsive to any requests for minor things, even at night. Good location as well near chapel st pubs, shops, trams and south Yarra station. Overall recommended.

We stayed for 6 nights in a one bedroomed apartment t with balcony in mid March. The apartment was fairly small and compact, but was nicely decorated and had a modern kitchen and bathroom. It had everything we needed, and also felt quite homely which is nice when you're travelling for a long period. The balcony was a nice addition and we used this on an evening/morning.
Our apartment was at the back of the building, so very quiet. I think that the ones at the front may be noisier as they overlook the Main Street, Chapel Street. Sound proofing between rooms seemed excellent.
We were a little nervous about not staying in the CBD. However, we wanted to stay in an apartment and also keep our budget down as we were travelling for 7 weeks. South Yarra is a great option as there are lots of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants and Prahran Market. However, it's also only a short train journey into the CBD. It takes about 10-15 mins to walk to the station and then it's only 7 mins on the train. These also run every 10-15 mins. There's also the option of getting the tram, which is nearer to the apartment but takes longer to get into the CBD.
One thing to note is that Amazing Accomodations manage a number of apartments, including this one, in what is a residential apartment building. Although they meet you on arrival, and are available by phone/email, there is no reception area etc. We found this a bit strange at first. However the people managing the apartment were easy to contact and replied veery quickly. If you want an apartment where there is a reception etc, this may not be for you.
This apartment and the location grew on us. It was exceptional value for money and we would recommend if you want to be in South Yarra.
