What an amazing spot this place is. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious, clean, well-equipped lodge. It's so peaceful and relaxing and has great facilities for children. Our 5 year old LOVES it here and wishes she could stay forever. The owner is very friendly and helpful and it really feels like a home away from home. Can't recommend this...

Beautiful courtyard buildings renovated to a very good standard. Lovely interiors and well equipped. There are six apartments in the yard but it is remarkably private and quiet. There is a basic but fun playground and the football goals kept the boys occupied for hours!! But the real highlight is the fun and relaxed atmosphere created by Sean and his...

We had a fantastic, relaxed few days at Belan Lodge. Beautiful stone buildings, tastefully renovated yet retains all its charm and character, set on a working farm. Our children had an amazing time exploring the surrounding fields, looking at the animals, picking fruit, playing in the play area. We loved the tractor and trailer ride to the pond but the...

This is a wonderful place set in the countryside for children. Stone farm buildings tastefully converted into B&B accommodation. It's a working farm with acres set aside for rambling through. Lots of farm animals, chickens, geese, ducks etc to enjoy. Sean (the proprietor) is great with children. He takes them around his fields in his lawnmower train. He get his...

13 of us stayed at BELAN Lodge in September for 10 days. It was a great place especially for a large group. There were many choices as to accommodations at the lodge. Some had 2 bedroom apartments, some had 1 bedroom apartments, others had ensuite bedrooms with a large dining area upstairs from the 3 bedrooms. We stayed at the...

We had an excellent stay in Belan Lodge in August 2015. The lodges are lovely and comfortable and the farm offers lots to do and great freedom for the kids. Our kids (ages 5 and 7) had fantastic fun for the week. They loved all the activities on offer, especially swimming in the pond and rides in the trailer. We...

We booked 3 of the lodges for a family gathering. My idea was a wonderful rural getaway, escaping from the city and treat our lungs to some fresh air, disconnect from technology and enjoy farm life (well, to an extent!). I worried my tween would get bored and the younger ones would enjoy it more, how wrong I was! They...

We had an even better time this year! The trees and bushes were full of fruits for picking and the weather was just fine if not quite up to last years soaring temperatures. The kids had an unbelievable time and never stopped until well after bed time. Mom and Dad also had a lovely, relaxing and totally chilled out 2...
