We are so thankful we stayed in this little resort. The service and value exceeded our expectations. One thing we were surprised by our visit was the cost of tours, taxis, food, ect. We were expecting our dollar to go farther, but the price of most things was actually a little more than you would expect to spend in the...

West Bay Lodge is a great location just off the beach, which is nice as it's away from the noise but close enough when you want more action. This lodge was by far one of the more charming and homey of the resorts we saw, especially with their menagerie of parrots, cats, turtles and even an agouti on site. We...

This is our second trip to West Bay Lodge. If it weren't for an airfare spike last year, it would be our third. As long as you understand Central America, this place is a gem. Forget the only negative reviews, written years ago before the upgrades in 2009 and on, this place is a pleasure. It has the Caribbean vibe...

West bay lodge is not on the beach, it's a 2 min walk, a blessing in disguise as the party at bananarama keeps going late into the night.... The cabins are very nice, air conditioned, with a fan, pure water, clean bathroom, and lots of privacy. The pool is nice too Milo's and Celeste are very courteous and amazing hosts.......

My family (kids age 5 & 7) spent our second Christmas (in a row!) at West Bay Lodge. Milos, Celeste, and the entire staff welcomed us as if we were family. West Bay Lodge is a little oasis -- really good food, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and guests, parrots hanging out in the eves of the dining room or in...

We spent one week at west bay lodge... the people that work there and the owners are really sweet folk. Very helpful and caring, we felt such warmth from the moment we got there. We ended up not being a huge fan of the closest beach "West End" it was fine but far from our favorite Caribbean beach we've been...

My husband and I skipped out on family Thanksgiving this year and booked our trip in Honduras at West Bay Lodge. I did a lot of research for an affordable, nice place to stay and we ended up choosing West Bay Lodge - we are so happy that we did. Upon our arrival we got a welcome drink and we...

We just spent 7 days at West Bay Lodge and had a wonderful experience, in spite of several days of rain! The warm spirit and welcoming service provided by hosts Celeste and Milo and their incredible staff led by manager Troy made even the cloudiest day a wonderful, relaxing, tropical experience. We enjoyed conversations over the local monkey la-la drinks,...

this is a romantic place. Dedicated owners Celeste and Milos will spoil you. Always improving their services and amenities. My first choice in West Bay, Roatan. Get in the pool a real oasis and feel nature surround you. If you have a keen eye there will me lots of interesting things and creatures to see and meet.

Wonderful people, Troy is not only handsome he is very responsive to guest needs. Celeste has made this a tropical oasis. The food was great, very friendly people who helped us enjoy our trip and the island to the fullest. The spa next door was first rate. I typically pass on spa treatments, glad I didn’t, and we went back...
