We have stayed at this motel for the past seven or so years in February on our way to Lake Nippissing to ice fish. Owners Mel and Sharmi have always been welcoming and have always treated us well. The rooms are clean and I find the beds very comfortable. The rooms are equipped with a coffee maker and bar fridge...

Spent one night after a long day on the snowmobile trails. Beds were new and comfortable, rooms were freshly painted, and very clean, quiet surroundings. Owners were very accommodating, as we got rained out on the trails, and had to wait till 3 p.m. for a pickup, and they let us stay in a room to await our pickup, free...

We expected a vintage motel but this place was a huge disappointment. I did not feel comfortable showering there; the tub and fixtures were rusty and the bathtub needed regrouting, inside and out. The grounds of the Motel were unkept - the place looked somewhat abandoned. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of choice in the area, but I wouldn't recommend...

We've been staying at this motel for a lot years now every time we go to visit family but with the new management I would never go back. The quaint pictures on the walls have been painted over and now are all white. They've removed all the bed spreads and replaced them with white sheets????? The furniture was all falling...

We stayed last night, after a concert in Sundridge, just up the road. It's basic, and complete--good beds, good pillows, clean, microwave, coffeemaker, fridge, free WiFi, obviously new carpet, very friendly front desk. Needs a little TLC--obviously the new highway which by-passes all the little communities on the old one has hurt the communities, and places like this. It. Is....

I booked this motel with because it said it was a 13 minute drive from Algonquin Park. It was 1 hour and 22 minutes away from the main entrance to Algonquin (according to google maps). I did not end up staying there and called and told them that it was too far from where I was. I booked through booking.com...

We had a school course that had some unexpected equipment difficulties that could not be overcome on the water, so we had to take out a day early. By the time we had arrived, we had been paddling/portage for 11 hours, plus take out time and driving out, so we were happy to find the former "hippy dippy" motel. Expectations...

Where do I start? The shock horror of walking into the room was something I cannot explain. The walls were painted bright blue skies with bright green frogs kissing, with stars, Christmas trees, mushrooms with mustaches and blue sunflowers with sad faces. A blue Phoenix with a stomach shaped like a wine bottle - believe me, I stared at the...

We stayed at this motel for one night while visiting someone in the area. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The walls were painted in a colourful mural style that was interesting. Quite a sight upon first opening my eyes in the morning. There was a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The TV was...
