My youngest daughter had her wedding in the area and this meant we had to find a place for her and the family to stay secluded from others in privacy She chose Villa Tarentaal as it fully met with these requirements and is a spectacular location The rooms are 7star with special little touches which need to be experienced to...

we have just stayed at Villa Tarentaal for 3 nights as my daughter was getting married in the area, what a wonderful stay we had together with the bridesmaids and bride. Beautifully decorated rooms en-suite and the most amazing breakfasts were served by Graham and his staff on each persons private verandah area. Attention to detail did not go amiss,...

As a frequent visitor to South Africa and a firm favourite of the Greenwoods Guide, Villa Tarentaal did not disappoint. We stayed the one night on the 11th Nov 2014, and it ticked all the boxes of excellence I would expect from an establishment, listed in the guide. Ideally located just out of the Main area, literally 3 mins car...

I have visited and revisited Villa Tarentaal in excess of 8 times over the past 3 years. Sometimes it's for a romantic getaway, sometimes a family break and I've even gone there for a solitary sabbatical! Each and every time the service and amenities have been perfect! I can highly recommend VT to all - without a shadow of a...

Wanting to experience something new, we decided to visit Tulbagh in stead of the usual suspects in and around Cape Town to celebrate my in-law's 40th wedding anniversary. What a fabulous venue in a beautiful setting. Our rooms were tastefully decorated, and did not want for anything. Kudos to Graham and his team for making us feel like royalty and...

We stayed in the Peacock Suite. Beautifully decorated room with modern fittings. Very romantic with a fireplace next to the bed and a beautiful pool, garden, and view outside your front door. The private breakfast with a view really rounded off the experience, and Graham's french toast croissants are amazing. Would definitely go back.

Not wanting to drive to far out of Cape Town, Tulbagh was the choice for our break away weekend. No request was to big or small for the fantastic team lead by Graham Hunter of Villa Tarentaal. Our room (Peacock Suite) was amazing and the extra care given to our stay has made it a destination which we will most...
