Stayed one night in an Art Suite in the Ice Hotel number 27. This was the most amazing experience ever. Staff were very helpful in explaining what to wear and what to expect. Once the hotel had closed to day visitors, it was very quiet. Got a good night's sleep. Would highly recommend doing this!

Whilst our stay was excellent, this is one of the places one must stay, I can’t help feeling that with a little bit more thought and planning this could have been so much better. I can only echo what many people have said about the friendly staff and activities that the hotel can offer. We went during half term with...

Ok, so why go to the ice hotel and not stay in one of the ice rooms? It is a bucket list item a must. I am sorry, but despite a potential use of the sleeping bags before you by others and reindeer skins, you just have to stay in one of the ice rooms. So which one? There are...

My friend and I went for our 60 th birthdays and were really excited. We splashed out and booked the art suite for 1 night and a warm room for 2 as it was a once in a life time trip. The ice rooms are amazing in every aspect and although not overly comfortable we slept. We had not expected...

What a great experience to sleep at the icehotel. We were instructed about how to survive the cold night and this was perfect. During the day you have enough time to make pictures from the hotel. Sometimes it looked like we were alone at the hotel, even when it was fully booked. Great once in a lifetime experience!

Although the Igloo experience I had in Finland (kakslautten) was a more breathtaking experience, this is a very cool hotel worth the visit...the cold rooms are open to the public until 6pm to visit so didn't see the case of sleeping in them and chose a comfy warm room to get some rest before activities, also sharing a sleeping bag...

This was one of those bucket list places for me and I was treated for my half century birthday by my wife. The rooms are amazing and the service from the minute you arrive is exemplary. Staff ensure you are correctly equipped for your night in sub zero temperatures and the Arctic sleeping bag (heavy!) Is certainly fitfor purpose. We...

We visited for the day, catching a bus from Kiruna bus station. We paid 650 kronor for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children). For your money you get to whizz around the place on a kick sleigh, and access the hotel and it's beautiful ice suites. We also went to the ice bar (100 kronor for a vodka cocktail,...

We travelled with Discover The World - a fantastic company with direct flights to Kiruna from Heathrow. We spent 1 night in an ice suite and 2 in a warm chalet. The whole experience was amazing - the scenery, the people, the activities. Everything is run so smoothly and it didn't ever feel too touristy or over crowded and we...

Without doubt, a truly remarkable experience. We travel extensively, but this was magical. I've read reviews titled 'bucket list' and this must surely be on many a list. Not for the faint hearted if you are travelling on a budget but if you have the means then worth the premium. To make the most of the experience, I would suggest...
