This hotel was pretty dissapointing and not 4-star-worthy. We were really surprised. For this money, you can stay at very much nicer places even in Switzerland. The interior was very ugly and anything but modern (even though they say they renovated in 2018.. maybe money ran out, cause the cupboards in the room are from 1800). In general, everything is very love-less, it makes the impression that they don't care much about hotel guests and their comfort. Location near lake is nice and rooftop terrace is nice to chill, but that's about it. Would not stay here again..

Seepark was a great hotel.....the rooms were so clean and it felt that it was just built when we stayed. The hotel from the outside doesn't reflect the soft warm decor room in the inside. The rooms were big with nice spacious dressers, small fridge, safe and big bathrooms with tub and shower. It is a 10 minute walk to the old town but connected by the lake walk which makes it a wonderful stroll to town/meals. There is a laundrymat/drycleaner next to the hotel down the street I recommend also if you need to do laundry. The bar downstairs in the lobby has cigars you could even purchase. I recommend this hotel if you have time to enjoy Murten and don't mind walking a bit to get to places.

We booked a one-night stay as we were attending a birthday party nearby. Arrival experience was good, very friendly. We were booked into room 41 (Berne) on the second floor. Elevator and very nice experience on floor with loads of light and nice decoration. The room itself is of excellent size, tiled floor, large wardrobe space, safe, mini-bar and all that is needed. The bathroom is also of good size with his and hers sink. Unfortunately the shower is in the bathtub and as can be seen in other guest comments, it takes quite a bit of time for warm water to be available. Not a big issue, just switch the shower and do something else until it reaches the desired temperature. The bed is super comfortable, wi fi strong and fast. Our room also had a pretty chair in the the window corner. We enjoyed the breakfast which was included in our rate. Although the buffet is small, the quality was very good. All in all, this was a highly enjoyable stay. We got a great sleep thanks to an excellent bed and a very quiet hotel. Having said that, the room also featured an AC and again, very quiet and nice. Excellent value for money, we will be back!…
