Rooms in a renovated tower with a courtyard for your breakfast or your chilling time. The owners are so spontaneous n friendly that you feel the place as your home and yourself part of their family ! They prepare breakfast by original fine greek ingredients (honey, butter, fresh fruits, pies, omelets etc) every single morning. Our room was at the...

I am leaving tomorrow and I still cannot believe it. Ok, it is well known that Mani is wonderful. Ok, maybe it was expected that people who come back to their parents old castle/house and rebuilt it, would do their best to make a comfortable (and amazingly decorated) hotel. But ... can really people be so friendly?! Can it be...

This is one of the best places I have stayed in Greece. It's a genuine restored Mani fortified tower house, still owned by the original family. Lovingly restored and maintained, with a wonderfully eclectic mix of antiques and modern craft pieces. Very comfortable with genuinely friendly hosts who lavish you with attention when you arrive and then leave you alone!...

What a wonderful place to stay for at least a couple of nights and even more! The hotel resides in a traditional house-fortress, typical of the Mani peninsula, and is less than five minutes drive from Pyrgos Dirou caves. When we were passing such fortresses on our way there, I couldn't believe we would be staying in one of them!...

If you don't know what 'Greek hospitality' means, just experience a stay at Sventoura! You feel at home by all means. Great people, great place! Highly recommended. Interior and exterior designing just fabulous in harmony with the history of Mani, with a touch of ethnic spirit. Clean and comfortable rooms. Atmospheric Veranda from where you can watch the sun set....

Boutique hotel with excellent decoration and architecture. The owners, a couple of middle-aged people will do their best to make you enjoy a warm stay. The only disadvantage is the distance from the sea and the lack of seaview from most of the rooms. Satisfactory breakfast. Beautifuly decorated rooms and common-use areas. Excellent proximity to Diros cave.

I would return in a heartbeat! I booked Sventoura for two nights one morning and arrived the same afternoon. We liked it so much we changed a future night's booking and extended our stay for a 3rd night and would have stayed longer if we could. Our room was #103 the large "penthouse" room on the top floor with windows...

I stayed here one night. I wish I could have stayed more. The hotel is actually located in Pyrgos Dirou which is an old village. Most of the buildings are Byzantine stone. The hotel actually has a small Byzantine chapel on its property. One the second level is a deck with a wonderful view of the sea. The location is...
