I've seen the reviews & cannot comment on the accomodation as we only stopped off for lunch on our way from West Clare to Ballina. Reviews mostly compliment the food & I am going to add to that. Lunch is a carvery with 3 meats+ a curry selection & plenty of it ( serve half portions as well) All reasonably...

Turned up at about 6.30pm after a day trip to Kiltmegh & Knock. Staff very friendly & polite. Bar staff doubled up as reception as when I checked in it was a member of the bar who checked me in. As a small hotel this is fine as the next morning the main reception was there, so possible she is...

Stayed here for the weekend as a treat for my mothers birthday, just the two of us. The room we were given was terrible! It was as other reviews have stated on the junction of two main roads in the town and extremely noisey at night with or without the window open! I noticed somebody had commented on the curtains...

We were unable to get a booking in the nearby McWilliam hotel but they suggested the Dalton Hotel on the Main st. A pleasant gentleman at reception gave us the key and directions to our room . There is no lift and no help offered with luggage up the stairs. The room itself was clean but small . The view...

Stayed recently and found the staff to be really nice and welcoming. Decor was also of a good standard and comfortable in every way. I would recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay. Good bar menu.

Room was a good size ,very clean and bed large and comfortable. TV rather small but ok.Had evening meal which was very good and great value for money.Staff friendly and very obliging. Would stay again but would advise anyone with mobility difficulties that we had to go up a fair number of stairs.

After a long day at work called into the Dalton Inn around 6pm. I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely gorgeous, served by very good staff. It's a place where you get good no nonsense food in a spotless restaurant. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. I'll certainly will be back.

This is a nice rustic hotel. There is nothing special about this hotel except the exceptional value for money. The room was clean and had a nice fresh smell when one walked in. The amenities available are fine but as you would expect in the wilds of Ireland not so modern. However this gives the hotel a warm and comforting...

We have eaten from the carvery here on several occasions and have always enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is very good and portions are generous( better than most carveries) and very reasonably priced. There is a good variety on the menu for both mains and desserts. The food is always served piping hot which...

The only good thing about the hotel is the staff. They are really nice and they work really hard. The same fella served us dinner, drink to the early hours and then checked us out the next day and was great. So we checked in had a long walk up and down stairs to get to our room. As other...
