I stayed at the Tipi retreat because I wanted….a retreat. A break from my busy life in the city I had peace and tranquility in this little cluster of Tipis a 5 minute walk from the hubbub of the Solscape centre. It was raining when I arrived (and continued to overnight) so it was really nice that I was driven...

Loved this place! Felt instantly relaxed as soon as we arrived! Could live here! (But would probably have to learn yoga!) Loved the bell tent. Just watch out for mosquito's biting your bum while using the long drop! (To wee!). The views from the veranda are amazing.

Stayed here for one night in a 3-bed caboose--pretty clean and the bed was nice, but as you are in nature expect a few bugs to be in there as well. The cafe and front lawn offer a spectacular view of the ocean, and all the communal facilities are kept pretty clean.

My daughter booked this as a special treat for us as a family to stay somewhere different. We had such an enjoyable time staying in the Lotus Bell tents. Great atmosphere and the food from the cafe was really enjoyable. I would strongly recommend staying here for a couple of days just to relax and unwind.

Have stayed at Solscape many times now, first time was in a tipi and then the rest of the time in a railway carriage. My love the experience, meeting people from around the world and whole approach Solscape takes to the environment. Aiming for the Ivy cottage for our next stay. Hopefully they will have the pizza oven rebuilt at...

Stayed in the Tipi area, a bit far from actual camp, about a 7 minute walk from the car park which was a little inconvenient having all our luggage on us. With that said, the main area where reception is, is on a beautiful plot of land overlooking the coast! Great concept for this place, and very well executed! The...

We stayed here for 3 nights in a campervan and loved every minute of it. We wanted to be near a beautiful beach, which we were (a 15min walk through a gorgeous bush walk down to Manu Bay) and we wanted a restful, peaceful place, which this was. The facilities (showers/toikets) are basic but totally fine! The view from the...

Found this place to be a little too pretentious and overpriced for having shared bunk rooms and showers. They are outside of raglan and don't provide transportation which was a pain. Delicious breakfast, but avoid the wood fired pizza - it was barely cooked and when we asked for it to be cooked longer they just added more cheese. Most...

This was my would-be-hippy girlfriend’s idea, but it was a good one. We stayed in a ‘belle’ tent, in the tepee forest. The tepee forest is a lovely clearing in the bush, with an open-sided kitchen area, pizza oven and gas hob, running water (from a stream, I think), but no electricity. We were two adults and two kids, and...

I just love this place, stayed in a caboose, and ate at the cafe for all except one meal. The Vegan Curry on Wednesday was amazing as was the breakfast menu. Staff were so friendly and the vibe was peaceful and relaxing. These people are ahead of their time in understanding travelling with low environmental impact. The views are to...
