The hotel impressed with its thoughtful infrastructure, quality of service and food. The room is spacious, very bright due to panoramic glazing. Cleaning every day, very high quality. The food is beyond praise, a wide variety of dishes, quality of preparation, there is a children's menu, the children were delighted with the ice cream in the restaurant and the various delicacies that the chefs pampered them with. Lots of seafood dishes, lots of greens and vegetables, meat dishes to choose from. Pasta, potatoes, rice, you can choose for every taste. The hotel area is very green and well-groomed, there is a mini-zoo with parrots and turtles, you can feed them with children, this also caused a lot of positive emotions among children. The sea is clean! There have never been stains from fuel oil or other petroleum products! It was a little stormy for a few days, but even then the beach was clean and comfortable. During the influx of tourists, we already had to look for free sun loungers, but this is inevitable during the peak season, as it seems to me. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive; upon arrival, we were given a free bed for our second child, which was very pleasant and unexpected. It is immediately clear that the hotel cares very much about its reputation and in every possible way wants to improve its level of service to attract customers, this can be seen in the work of any hotel employee, be it reception, cleaning or restaurant. Animation for adults by the pool, dance classes and yoga. Small performances for children in the evening. The scale of the performances is certainly more modest than in Turkey, but one must understand that this is a different country and a different mentality. There is a life salon and a nightclub on the upper floors of the building, which is very convenient when relaxing with children - there is no noise at night from people walking in the club! The soundproofing of the walls in the rooms is very good, unlike Turkey! The air conditioner is of high quality, odorless and with a convenient location of the air flow not above the bed, but in the free half of the room. My family and I had an unforgettable vacation, a lot of positive impressions and will definitely return to this hotel again!

We vacationed with our family, children 14 and 10 years old. The hotel itself is quiet and peaceful: 1. Excellent food, there was always seafood for breakfast, lunch and dinner, fresh fruits, fresh juices for breakfast, good coffee, a sea of desserts, a lot of meat, chicken, fish. There are no fries provided, but we asked for fries and they brought them to us without question. The service in the restaurants is excellent. 2. Number. Yes, the hotel is tired, but everything is in excellent condition. The room has an ironing board and iron, clothes dryer, refrigerator, tea set, etc. On the balcony there are chairs and a plastic table. We lived on the 10th floor and could hear the sound of the sea. 3. Hotel. There are Russian-speaking staff at the reception, always ready to help. We asked to change the number and they changed it without any problems. The pool has warm water, the sea is gorgeous, waiters on the beach bring drinks from the bar. There is a lawn on the territory, you can play football, there is a playground where they play darts, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and golf. In general, there is something to do in the evening. There is no animation. The hotel is well maintained. But there is nowhere to go beyond the territory. Across the road there is a pharmacy, a small cafe and a travel agency. It was there that we bought an excursion to Dubai, it turned out cheaper than the guide. Overall I liked it, good transport, the driver Pasha speaks Russian fluently.

Relaxed at this hotel on autumn break in 2024. Upon check-in, we were provided with a room on the 8th floor with chic views but no balcony. We went straight to the front desk and asked for a room with a balcony, because we're two adults and two children, no extra space is hard. We were promised a room change, but we'll have to wait a few days. The room was noisy during the day from renovation work. The 1st to 6th floor hotel was under renovation. They started coming to the reception more often, asking for a change of number as soon as possible. On the third day, we finally got a room change, thanks to Hosni, who spoke fluent Russian and helped us. We were very pleased with the room with the balcony, the view is chic, the renovation work was no longer heard, although we were moved to the floor below, but to another wing. By the way, all the windows in the hotel face the ocean, the view is wonderful of all the rooms. We were also given a compliment... champagne with fruit and oriental sweets. It was a pleasure. Thank you)). The animator at the hotel is a very soulful, charismatic Egyptian. The whole family was doing aqua aerobics, and in the evenings she was doing minidisco and evening events (karaoke, guess the tune, bingo, etc.). She will be remembered forever! It was really fun with her! Pool lifeguards are doing an excellent job. My children adored them and I could safely go away confident that they were looked after by professionals!!! My son asked me to say hi to Ajit, Nudzem, Rafishka. The restaurant fed very good! Seafood daily, lamb, fish, was all you needed. Halloween decorations and menus were very surprising, tried the guys!!! Well done to the waiters. I noticed a friendly group in the restaurant, guys cheering each other up, smiling at each other, cool. Povors often came to the tables and asked if the guests liked everything. The guy who made the pancakes made my daughter a bear pancake. The baby was very pleased. Cleaning the room is a miracle, the guy after a day surprised us with his creative abilities , made masterpieces out of towels))). This too will be remembered for life))). The hotel is big, but very cozy, everything is close, no one was lost among the children. There was a dot on the pool and on the beach second, and also a third on the beach bar))). Bartenders, too, were respectable, hardworking, quick to serve, polite and sometimes surprised to remember my number. We really enjoyed our holiday, thank you for making our stay at your hotel unforgettable.

The hotel is very old. Much is shabby, shabby, unpleasant. There is a strong musty smell on the living floor. In the room there are layers of dust in the corners, the cushions on the chairs are stained, the chairs themselves are stained, the curtains are dirty, the table lamps are moldy, I have attached a photo. The renovation is very old, a little diluted with fresh plumbing, but this does not save the situation. The sight and smell of staleness and old age haunts us everywhere. The hotel level is a stretch of 4 stars. In the main restaurant, the choice of food is small, little is prepared tasty, sometimes raw baked potatoes, sometimes pasta, desserts are generally impossible to eat, there are very few of them and they are tasteless, dry or with rich cream and the same every day. There is only one porridge for breakfast every day and it is disgusting, rolled oats in transparent mucus. The grill for the weekend was in the form of chicken, half-raw vegetables, paella, consisting of almost nothing but rice. For lunch it was like this: fried fish in curry, chicken in curry, beef meatballs in curry, that’s it. Unless you're vegan or a curry lover, you'll leave hungry. Thank you, that lunch there was delicious mashed potatoes, I ate it. This is NOT 5 star level. Mostly older tourists and tourists with children relax. There is light animation. The hotel area is also very, very tired and is in urgent need of renovation. The mini-zoo on the territory is one large cage and it is generally in a terrible, unkempt condition. The playground is also all old and shabby, and needs renovation like everything else. At 8 am all the sun loungers are occupied both at the pool and at the beach. Moreover, no one is there for half a day, and there are no sunbeds available. The cleaner entered our room without knocking or ringing at the moment when we were standing naked getting dressed for the beach. This is unacceptable in hotels of any level! It's a pity that we didn't pay attention to the few negative reviews about the hotel, it's all true. Since our vacationers are mostly older people and mostly from the regions, this apparently contributes to numerous positive reviews, but it is not true if you expect to get a real 5-star hotel and understand what it should look like. We have been to six different 5 star hotels in Dubai, Ajman and Fujairah and this is the worst hotel of all and by far the worst. For this money you can choose a real worthy five. Therefore, it is not worth spending money on this hotel. The area around the hotel itself is empty, there is nothing around. The beach is wide and large; we only saw turtles near the stones and a few inconspicuous fish. There is no super snorkeling here, if you expect snorkeling like in the Red Sea or in the Maldives, this is not here. We drove about 2 hours from Dubai by taxi for 13,000 rubles. They paid another 13,000 rubles in the opposite direction. for a taxi. We will never return here and do not recommend this hotel to you.

The hotel is normal, not new, but everyone has different preferences and views on things, clean, comfortable, the food is normal, but I am choosy and then found myself something to eat, though by the end of the holiday the food with overloading seasoning, the beer backing is good (not water like in Turkey) from Restaurants Italian the most normal. The friendly staff. What liked the hotel when there were in October there were few people, mostly families, calm, quiet, ja discotheques and concerts no, nooooo, billiards, tennis, good gym, yoga, for children there is some program. About the excursions Roman (located near the car museum in the settlement) was approached friendly, does not cause the feeling that something imposes, calmly and clearly told everything, took a tour to Dubai, I believe a good price for a full-day excursion, we caught tour guide Vera, Russian speaking, all interesting told. Thank you.

I never recommend anything to anyone as people always have different views of things. So I will simply write my experiences at the Al Aqah having just completed my third 3 week stay there and you can determine if the hotel maybe for you. The staff are superb and extremely friendly and polite. The rooms are large and the bathrooms equally so with separate toilet, walk in shower and bath. The hotel is exceptionally clean throughout and the various pathways in the grounds forever being swept. The swimming pool is large with a separate area for children. There is a ‘Kids Club’ to keep the kids happy and away from the guests!!! The Premium Inclusive package that I always take allows you to eat in the Grill, Thai, Indian, Italian and Baywatch Beach Bar as well as being able to partake of your favourite drinks throughout the day. The food served in these restaurants is excellent and one of the main reasons why I like this hotel. I cannot comment on the Buffet restaurant as I have never eaten there as I dislike Buffets!!!!!! There is not a lot to do except relax and enjoy yourself, swim and go for walk on the beach or enjoy the sunshine. Would I go again - for sure.

And again, a year later, we returned to Le meridien al akha beach resort as a family of 6 people (3 adults and 3 children) What changed? New employee - a wonderful person and a professional Hosny at the reception (speaks Russian) We checked in around 10 am, waited for a room for about an hour and immediately gave us vouchers for lunch (although check in is at 3 pm)
Now the hotel has an animator who conducts water aerobics in the pool every day, entertains children with disco dancing in the evenings, and also a fire show on Fridays. Very positive and cheerful.
And the range of dishes in the Views restaurant seemed to become smaller. The restaurant staff, despite the heavy workload, work quickly and are very friendly and polite.
Overall a wonderful stay, spacious rooms, good cleaning, everything you need is in the room (iron, hairdryer, electric kettle, tea, coffee, cookies, etc.) And a wonderful view from the balcony 🌊🌊🌊 The beach is huge, gently sloping for children, clean soft sand. Last year the children were happy to see crabs, this year they also saw starfish. There is no oil or jellyfish on the beach

We are currently in the hotel, room 1711, an excellent room, on the 17th floor, the view is simply fantastic. The room is large, the cleaning is excellent. We also stayed in this hotel in January of this year, celebrated the New Year, really liked it, my husband left his review, and now I decided to add a couple of lines about my emotions. Before arriving at this hotel, we spent a week staying at the hotel next door (ADDRESS, the hotel is new, but we didn’t like the concept, more for locals). It’s good that for this vacation we allocated 10 days specifically to Meridian. The food is excellent, the alcohol is acceptable, if you want something special for your meal, ask the chef in advance and they will cook it for you. This morning they asked us to cook borscht and at lunchtime we dined like at grandma’s home. By the way, regarding nutrition: the breakfasts are simply superb, everyone will find something for themselves, eggs Benedict, poached eggs, pork and beef bacon, cereals, omelettes, fruits, etc., by the way, there is baby food, yoghurts, etc. Delicious lunches where you can ask for something extra to be prepared, although there is already so much, if we ask for it, it’s cabbage soup, borscht or dumplings :). We often have a grill for dinner, we are crazy about it. In May the pool and sea are very warm, you can just swim for hours. The beach is super, the entry into the sea is smooth, the sand is soft, without stones or anything else, the water is clean, there are no waves in May. In general, I recommend this hotel for the New Year and May. In November we are planning to go to Dubai for 7 days and then we will come here for 10 days. I hope that in November a gentle sea without waves will await us.

We were at this hotel for the second time (the first was in August), the first time we were completely satisfied and even recommended it to several friends who also stayed here. When we arrived in August, upon check-in, we were given welcome cocktails at the reception, but this time we received nothing. Also, when the room was ready, they promised to send us a message to our phone, they checked the number twice, in the end we sat for two hours, we went to the reception and they told us: oh, yes, your room is already ready. No message was ultimately sent.
There were three of us, we managed to get a bed, bedding and hygiene items, slippers and towels only the third time, we even had to go down to the reception - it didn’t help. We never received a robe until the last minute for rest. Water, cream, tea and cookies were provided for the entire holiday for two, although they knew very well that there were three of us.
At first we were pleasantly surprised by the warm water in the pool, but it turned out that it was heated only on Saturday, when locals apparently came to the hotel, and the rest of the time we were forced to settle for cold water.
There was also a huge problem with dinners; dinner was tasty only 2 days out of 7. The desserts were terrible, there is nothing to say, there were days when they simply didn’t take anything, because there was nothing to choose from. Dirty plates just sat on the tables and were most often removed only when people left.
The only positives for me this time were the breakfast, and those were the moments when the food ran out and the workers just walked by, looked at the empty trays and did nothing, and the pool was long and deep, but cold.
Also very spoiling the impression are the employees of the shops inside the hotel, who do not allow you to pass quietly, but begin to persuade you to come to them and “look” at the goods.
The icing on the cake was the refusal of late check-out from the room, due to the complete sale of places in the hotel, it is not clear where this complete sale comes from, because at first glance, the hotel is empty.
After this visit we will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not return ourselves. It can't even be called 5 stars.

The hotel is not new, but we didn’t see too many negative elements in the hotel’s interior, everything was decent. The hotel area is small, well-groomed, there are a lot of palm trees, flowers and plants, a huge multi-zone pool, the room is large, they clean well and every day, but it’s not clear why there is no free minibar in a room, this is the first time in our entire life at 5* that we have seen this. There is very little food and it is extremely monotonous, and much of it is not tasty and the smell emanates periodically from the dining room. Breakfast is quite good, lunch is so-so, with dinners everything is completely bad. We saved ourselves from Ala carte restaurants for lunch and for dinner we mostly went there (but the menu there is small and always the same) The staff tries their best, they always help in resolving any “issues” that arise at the reception, in the dining room, in restaurants... everyone is extremely responsive. There are not enough sun loungers under umbrellas on the beach; they have to be occupied early in the morning. At the pool, too, around lunchtime it can be difficult to find sun loungers, We were surprised that the beach towels were extremely worn out, the robe in the room was good, the other had torn sleeves. The glasses in the bar on the beach and at the pool are old, extremely worn out, but foreigners find newer glasses. Alcohol is so-so, we mostly took cocktails, they are delicious. Overall the impression is that this is 3 * and not 5 *
