My wife and I have recently been on a one month Iberian road trip in a small camper van, and one of the places that we wanted to vit was Figueira da Foz. We'd had little luck in finding an open, major campsite in the area, but by chance we found a minor reference to Termas da Azenha on the...

The place was truly different from what expected. It was truly quiet and away from the world, and really peaceful. It's as much a hotel as it is an work of art in construction. I really loved the beauty and quieteness of the place. The bedroom was clean and truly beautiful, the breakfast really good and generous portioned. It was...

The railing on the porch was metal musical notes! I never had a chance to ask her what music it was. Small but very nice typical...

We liked the old spa, it´s as if you go back in time. Rooms are ok, comfortable, not luxurious. We don´t care about that, nice painting behind the bed. Bed was big, good. Shower ok, nice mosaic. Didn´t use the outsider kitchen, because it was raining all the time. They should put signs, it´s hard to find. It was very...

Last november I did stay at Termas da Azenha for nine nights, and I absolutely loved it! This small scale accomodation is big in her uniqueness; not comparable with hugh all-in resorts. The hotelroom I have booked was clean and comfortable with a stunning sunset-view on the rice fields. Total calmness all over, mosaics and wall paintings in every corner....
