Room 45 is the best at the resort - at the end of all the other rooms and a bit higher up on the hill providing great views. Spacious with a large bathroom and balcony - great room. Beach is fantastic - clean and quiet - even over New Years. Staff were very nice and helpful. One small issue - no hot water in the bathroom, geyser was not working - was solved very quickly with good communication. Food is very decent - the India food is great - you can taste the home made quality. Getting there is a challenge - and the resort warns about this - the last 2km is a very rough dirt track - some taxi drivers will not drive it. It's not that big of a deal, a bit of a bumpy road at the end. But it's all worth it once you are there. Bring whatever supplies you require because

Stayed here for one night, stunningly location with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Perfect for a walk along the beach at sunset. Great place to enjoy the beach in Goa without being hassled. Very scenic and tranquil.

We ended our travelling here , I’m reluctant to write this review as it’s a hidden treasure & I selfishly want to keep it that way . We had to walk down a lot of steps to Cola beach with heavy rucksacks but it was so worth it . The beach huts were amazing , very large comfortable beds and beautiful carved wooden furniture, an open air bathroom and fantastic terrace with comfy chairs overlooking the sea ,ceiling fans were great and a short walk to the restaurant which overlooked the sea was excellent & so cheap just finished it off . The staff were brilliant and very friendly , we absolutely loved it . I traveled with my son , daughter and friend so we booked two beach huts - both were fabulous

We stayed at Blue Lagoon Resort for couple of days during our visit to Goa. The place was bit empty as it was just the start of the season. Pros: Beach front property Great and calm place to relax Clean rooms Cons: Indians not treated well, as they treat foreigners Average food Less food menu options Expensive for the service offered Rooms were decent enough and washrooms could be improved. Not a cozy stay though !! We took the garden view rooms, but felt the beach front rooms we better structured. Felt the place is bit overpriced. Restaurant was good, but not offering variety of food. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. They did not have much varieties of Fishes to offer, although being a beach front property. No prawns were available. They served boiled potatoes

We stayed in one of the huts on the beachfront. A great setup. The room was really nice and an impressive bathroom too. The sea view was stunning. The room had ants but that was ok. Were in a hut on a beach. There was no hot water but the weather was so hot so this was ok. The food in the restaurant was quite good. I can recommend the chilli chips, pancakes and the dal! The service was fine too. It could come across as grumpy but think it was just the way they are. I would recommend they put a small fridge in the huts for beer and water. More sun beds on the beach would be good too as there are not many. Also the internet was hit and miss but more miss. It was really cheap. We spent around £60 in 3 day’s on food and drink. I do think 2 nights would have been enough as it is
