Spent a couple of nights there last week. Nothing was too much trouble for the attentive staff. Spotlessly clean, local beer in the bar (Cairngorm Ales), fantastic food in the evening and such a great setting, overlooking the loch. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed a evening meal with an excellent, mouthwatering menu choice. Food presentation and service to a very high standard. Staff most welcoming and hotel setting and surroundings inspiring. Have dined here before and would most definately return. Well done Rowan Tree.xx

We have held three family gatherings at the Rowan Tree and every time the food, service, atmosphere and value for money have been superb. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful when such a disparate group as ours are trying to choose from such an interesting menu!

Following a late sail back from Zstornoway and bad weather on the drive home to Dundee, I was fortunate to find a room at the Rowan Tree following a friend's recommendation. The food was fabulous, the service friendly and the surroundings beautiful. Excellent value and well forth a repeat visit.

If you are looking for a hotel that is very reasonably priced, spotlessly clean, well presented, with friendly helpful staff, a great menu, delicious food and an extensive choice of drinks at the bar...look no further. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and if we are ever in this neck of the woods again, we'll be staying here.

After many Year's taking holidays in Kincraig we finally managed to go for a meal in the Rowan Tree Hotel. Not their fault as we tend to arrive on boxing day & go home for New Year. Basically that's when the poor chief owners have a well deserved break. After a fab week up the hills we booked our last...

Another wonderful stay at this family run hotel. As usual the accommodation was faultless and the food First Class. Log fires, lovely we bar with a huge selection of drinks (especially nice malts), and a really great restaurant with the most amazing food and presentation. Lots of local produce, lamb, venison, scallops, pork etc. so so good!

We had The Rowan Tree recommended to us by the daughter of a friend, for a family 21st celebration. Throughout the booking and organisation process the owner, Monique, could not have been more helpful and obliging. However our experience of the actual hotel was a shocking contrast, so much so that we were actually embarrassed to have invited our extended...

I visited Rowan Tree with a group of friends for a catch up as we hadn't seen each other for a while. Prior to dinner we had a drink in a very comfortable sitting room, which is what really sets this restaurant apart. The selection of food is amazing, local sourced and inspired, good portion sizes too, which is refreshing....
