I can't say enough good things about this place! From the first time I contacted them (email ~4 months before our stay) they were always prompt to respond and very kind and informative when doing so. They arranged for someone to pick us up at the airport and bring us back to the lodge. SO worth it. I couldn't even...

I cant say enough about the wonderful welcome that we received from BRL. Giovanni, Petra, Ignacio, Rocky, and the list of names goes on and on. The rooms were all first class and in clean immaculate condition and all with enough room not to be disturbed by your neighbor. The views from all aspects of the resort not a lodge,...

My husband and I stayed for five wonderful nights. We were in beautiful cabin 17 along the river. I loved going to sleep at night listening to the sounds of the river, howler monkeys, crickets and night birds! The staff are very polite and accommodating, always service with a smile. The guides are very knowledgable and work hard to show...

Stunning eco lodge. Great setting in the jungle. Such fun throwing yourself into the water off the rope swing. Inner tubing chilled with a few thrills. Hearing howler monkeys at night was other wordly. Great dining area with feeders to draw in exotic birds. Accommodation was comfy and very attractively set up, great views and hammocks. Swimming pool. LOVED IT!

This lodge is just beautiful. It is very peaceful sitting at breakfast and watching the birds feed off of the fruit plate they put out. Here are some tips: 1. You can eat on the lower level by the bird feeders to watch the birds, just ask. 2. The evening menu is a set menu. One evening, we really didn't...

My family stayed at Black Rock for 4 nights and loved it. We will definitely come back. The location is amazing -- right on a river, with amazing limestone cliffs staring at you, and forest as far as the eye can see. Accommodations were very comfortable -- the cabins have nice beds and bathrooms and hammocks overlooking the beautiful scenery....

This place was the highlight of our trip to Belize! The location is stunning, lodges are gorgeous but the real stars are the staff. They went out of their way to ensure we had a great time - really engaging with our 2 kids and getting them so enthused about the wildlife. I would return in a heart beat. I...

Our first time to Belize and Black Rock was a highlight of the trip. This place is borderline magical and the staff is incredible. Not only was this our favorite place to stay in Belize, it may be our favorite place to stay ever.

We stayed 4 nights at BRL in March with our 2 boys ages 17 and 14 and daughter, 11 years old. Everyone was so accommodating and made our stay perfect. We did a lot of hiking and took advantage of the area around the Lodge. Vladimir was a super guide and so well informed- we all learned so many interesting...

Not that we're the most worldly of travelers, but we've gotten around a bit. Black Rock is the only lodge we've ever gone back to. We know we'll go back even more times. It's that special. Driving up to Black Rock for our second visit felt to me like coming home. From the moment I turned off the highway I...
