An older camp but a great location right on the river. The rooms are nice and clean but not luxurious. We had a great game drive and wonderful sunset drinks and were joined by a large herd of Elephants. The food and service at the lodge were great. Our hosts could not be faulted and made you feel you were...

Lianshulu is worth then 1'000 words!😍 Breathtaking views, lovely animals, heavenly food, tasting wines. 👍😀 Karin and Mark made us feel @ home from the first seconds on; friendly, helpful and totally professional. It was our first stay at Lianshulu, but definitely not the last.

Lianshulu is in a very remote area, on the Kwando river, with Botsiwana on the opposite bank, there is absolutely nothing around you except wilderness. You go to sleep with the hippos chatting about their day, and you wake up with the birds excited to start their day! There is limited electricity, so while you do have lights in your...

Lianshulu is located on the banks oft he Kwando River. The cabins have a deck overlooking the river. They show signs of wear and could be cleaner, especially the mosquito nets. Lianshulu is marketed as a „high end luxury lodge“. Comparing Lianshulu with several luxury lodges in Botswana we have stayed at before coming to Lianshulu I cannot confirm this....

Good day, thank you for your review, we have adressed your concerns iro of mosquito nets however it would not be fair to compare any Namibian properties with that of our Botswana counter parts. Regarding your concern with charging points, poor lighting, air conditioners (or lack thereof), we are a remote lodge - in fact so remote that we are...

We booked via Booking.com and their Webpage says "Book now, pay when you stay" Immediately after I booked through Booking.com I received a direct email from the establishment demanding immediate and full payment .....otherwise we would loose our booking. We paid in full. (I often book through Booking.com and only pay when I check out....so this was strange...although they can...

This was a return trip as we enjoyed Lianshulu so much 10 years ago. Still a stunning location, though the water level was too low for boat trips to be possible, which was a great shame. The lodge had changed hands since we were last there, though the style of operation is similar. Friendly service and good food, with excellent...

We were delighted with our stay at Lianshulu. Anetta is an exceptional host - genuinely warm and passionate about making your experience memorable. We have travelled over 15 times to Africa and the food was as good as we have ever had. Sole Papillote was a stand out! The staff were lovely and very well trained. We loved lazing by...

Lianshulu is the most beautiful comfortable lodge on the Kwando River in the Caprivi. The owner Anetta is the hostess with the mostest. She is always on hand to offer service and goes out of her way to ensure her guests comfort. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very private with a balcony overlooking the Kwando River where hippos play...

The big main building of the Lianshulu Lodge, build directly above a river, offers an amazing view on the beautiful surrounding landscape. But when staying at Lianshulu, you can heavily feel and see the german influence on the lodge, which is not really what I expected and desired when going on a safari-vacation. The rooms where a bit dark and...

We were booked in here late as our original lodge had burnt down. But it was an excellent choice. We were warmly welcomed, our accommodation was very comfortable and the organised game drives were very good, with friendly and helpful staff. The game viewing was excellent and the guides knowledgeable. Everything was organised very efficiently and we could not have...
