Rooms are basic but perfectly adequate and fitted well into the forest surroundings.
The gardens are full of birds and iguanas with a river running by. A number of swimming and paddling pools with lounges and chairs. Very friendly staff especially the bar staff.

If your children love nature, wildlife and an outside life, yes. It is NOT a place where children can be left to their own devices but exploring and learning with you. Great. I have a 15 month old and he would love it.
Remember it is in the jungle so beware there are dangerous things out there. Insects and poisonous frogs etc. Saying that this also applies to adults. Your children will learn so much about nature, much more than a book.
We stayed3 days and loved it.
