Also, they have good food and lilies in their pond.
Basic aminities were missing. Rest good.
Just a note for the hotel management:- when we reached there after a day long travel, they asked us to fill the form first even when we were tried like hell and having our bags in our hands. The person named Tapan specifically mentioned that they will allow us after form filling process only(it was a prepaid booking, payment was made already days before check-in)
Pls allow guests to feel like home first and form filling process can wait a little.

You need to order your dinner before 7.30 pm and after that no order was accepted, it was disgusting. Due to rain while we request to send food in room, waiters were not ready to serve food in room but forcing to come to restaurant in full rain.
Hotel was also not interested to serve breakfast half an hour early, as we wanted to go for jeep safari.
Overall bad experience, avoid this property if you want to enjoy your vacation

I went with my wife and kids and enjoyed fully. Other places are also nearby like orchid garden and Kaziranga national park. Best part is the hill with tea plantation.
I love this place and is a children friendly.
It was a wonderful & memorable stay which I still cherish with my wife & daughter
We took our pre booked car from Guwahati rly stn to a city hotel nearby. Then we drive to Kamkkhaya Temple (half hour drive depends on city traffic). After doing all rituals we came back to hotel at 5:30 pm and called it a day
We started for Kaziranga next morning after breakfast at 9:00 am. Its a long journey. We drove for around 3-4 hrs continuously until Lunch Halt. Keep some snacks handy with you since after crossing Jorhat ghats you will hardly find any good food joints. The reason is that you will be approaching towards remote areas close to one of the biggest & top five national parks in India. After almost an hour halt in a highway shack overviewing fringes of Kaziranga from afar we started again. Beautiful roads with greenery around will soothe your soul. Keep an eye on bothside of the road since you may see majestic Rhinos on your way. Reason is that the highway rides through the outer areas of the National Park. After two quick hours we were at the gates of Dhanshree cottage. Ethnic style gate with no bright or dazzling signs. The reception is open area with straw roof and bamboo supports, we were greeted by service boys. The entrance is not impressive though but as we went inside the property I fell in love with it. These guys have got a private tea garden, a man made canal with a small bridge over it, landscaped garden with small isolated cottages, one clubbed cottage and two three story structures with cozy rooms. We stayed there for two days in one of the cottages. Rooms are clean & big with Split ACs, with big bathrooms, no wifi though, then who needs a wifi in a National park. Room service is excellent & lightning fast. Food is mouthwatering, starting from kebabs & tandooris to rice, dal, aluposto through Chinese platter. We went for jeep safaris to Kaziranga, booked directly from reception. The jeeps picked us from the hotel at 3:00 pm @2200/jeep with max 5 accommodation. Mostly were open hood jipseys (four wheel drive). We saw numerous Rhinos yes numerous (15-20 sightings), cheetal, barking dear, Sambar, Neelgai, Elephants, wild fowl, peacock and a Royal Bengal Tiger resting 50 yards away beside a nallah barely 50 yards away from the trail. We meet a pool of photographers from National Geographic. The park closes at 6:00 pm. You can also take elephant rides in the morning at 6:00 am. Well we were too lazy for that ride and not sure how my daughter would react to the tricky seating arrangement on Tuskers. We explored the tea garden next morning and climbed around 100 foot for it. Came down hungry and took warm breakfast. The resort arranged born fire at night with chicken kebabs & fish fries running highs with dark black jungle around with sounds of different insects, fox howling at some distance. We went for a jeep ride next day at same time since it was like "call of the wild" and you cannot ignore. We started from Kaziranga towards Shillong next morning at 08:00 after early breakfast.
As we reached the hotel we got to know there are no triple occupancy rooms and the tour operator has asked for one matress only for the extra guest. We requested the manager if he can provide a bed , answer was he cannot until he gets a call from the operator.
My question is in case a guest is immediately not able to reach out to the operator atleast can you not arrange a bed quoting it might be chargeable ?
The fist whiff of the room was so foul cant even tell, it was smelling damp and mouldy. When we asked why its smelling like that and if we get any other room which smells normal, answer was this is how it is , we cannot do much as the place is asaam and it rains a lot . Its December and the last rains were in september , have you aired your rooms at all in these last few months when the sun is shining so brightly.
As the manager informed he has no vacant rooms we had no option but to stay in the same room . 10 pm we entered the room when we were too sleepy and we got up at 4 am for safari. When we got up all 3 of us has sore throats and blocked nose , thanks to the moulds and spores in the room , 6 hrs sleep had done its wonders.
On top of that i dont think they change sheets after guests check out. We had hairs on the pillow covers and oil stains on the sheets and when we complained the same to housekeeping they simply said they have already changed sheets . Did they change is 15 days back or just before we arrived is debateable.
Next morning after coming back from safari i asked for a tea maker / water heater as our throats were in horrible condition and in no way we were able to take normal water.
The housekeeping came with one small tea maker and when we opened it to boil water we were just short of puking. it has some black colour thing growing in its inside and completely covered the base. It was yukk.
We took the same to reception to get it changed . And the guy says whats the problem, we said just open it you will know.
He saw the issue got us an replacement from the kitchen saying this is additional facility what we are providing you we do not give tea makers in room.
Really ? for the money you are charging per night , isint tea maker a must ?
But what i can say to a hotel which does not even provide basic toiletries and complementary water bottle for guests.
( note : this hotel does not provide any toiletries and even 1 single bottle of mineral water complementary during the stay. Even a small hotel / inn now a days provides basic soap , shampoo and body lotion but not dhanshree. I heard a foreigner guest giving the management left and right about the same with some choicest words and i felt it was justified for the amount of money dhansree is changing per night. Water kept in room is in bisleri bottles filled from aquaquard. I have no problems with filtered water but i have a problem with the overused mineral bottles as those bottles are not meant for reuse and have an expiry date which i am sure the management has never heard of because when i asked the same to the reception their answer was this is how it is here)
This place is not at all worth the money and horrible horrible rooms and staff.
There was more with food too, but i do not want to mention anything more here , only mentioned things that were really really bad.
This place is worth only for pictures . They are still investing more in landscaping and have a definite interest in how the property looks from outside, even if rooms and linens are rotting from inside.
So just dont stay , take pictures have a tea and leave.
So i suggest you guys that please think twice before taking the room with this resort in future.I just give 1 star only bcz i have no way to post this review ..............
