We were told that most travelers spend a maximum of 2 days in Kaziranga, however, we were there for four. Surprisingly though, we had a great time just enjoying the beautiful countryside and the puppies and chickens running around. We were treated to bonfires every evening and made friends with some travelers too. We went to the national park just once but visited the cultural show/orchid park twice! Definitely worth a visit- you can get a local thali inside and a cheaper version outside. Our hosts at Kodom Bari were really hospitable. The tents we're decently clean and the bathroom very clean. Hot water was available whenever we needed. Food was good but not too much of a choice- We enjoyed the veg thali. Breakfast was really scrumptious. Network is good for jio but not so great for the others. If you'd like a safari cum lazy, relaxed holiday, this place is definitely worth a visit.…

Nice tent rooms with good greenery and environment to relax your soul. Supportive people to assist you. Tents and restrooms are clean and hygienic. Food is ok. Will surely choose this again when visiting Kaziranga next time. Good place to be with friends for sure.

This we visit 4 friends in a bike trip. Super realx env, good people of assam there. Can park bike and car . Safari jeep pick you from gate . Food quality is good and room are all clean . The evening outside barbq place is great . Surely visit again with family .

Very friendly & helpful staff. Seems to be located fairly centrally with respect to the Safari starting points. Got some very good tips on what to do around Kaziranga !! The Orchid Park & Cultural Center not too far away should be part of your itinerary as should a plated meal there.

Location: excellent Staff and service:excellent Safari: gogoi and team( ask for them) excellent Food: Very good We stayed for 3 nights in 2 rooms. We entered like guests and left like a family. They made every arrangement for us including good food and local fish. Its tented accomodation which i love for my jungle stay. These are string swiss tents. Bathrooms are spotlessly clean If u believe in a tripadvisor genine review just go ahead with this place. ITs value for money.

This is the best thing happend in my Assam trip. I really don’t have words to explain about the people here. Every one of them is a gem. I travelled solo here, they went over and beyond to help me starting from arranging pickup for elephant safari to actually drop me to the jeep safari location in their own bike. I would rate this 5/5 and if you are looking for a memorable stay in Kaziranga please go ahead and book Kodom Bari.

Me and my wife stayed there in jan 2022. Very nice property in a village. Lots of tea garden around. Only noise you hear are of the chickens and turkey Peking around . Mr dutta arranged the elephant safari . Food is freshly prepared and nice. The boys at the property are very energetic and are always running around . The tents are nice and comfortable but nights are quite cold. Some improvements req 1. Tea coffee maker specially for winter 2. Geyser for each tent- currently 3 tents have a common geyser . If one tent uses for some time other tent does not get hot water. Overall a very nice experience

They are situated at an excellent location, with beautiful tent houses for accomodation. Tent houses are very clean and well maintained giving you the experience of camping. They have got good staff who make sure that your stay is very comfortable. The best part of staying there was the guide they provided for the jungle safari. He was such an experienced guy with knowledge of each species of bird.
