Jhupuri was our base for 4 nights in Dec 2017, when we explored Kaziranga and Gibbon sanctuary. Overall, we had a great time here and would highly recommend the place Pros 1. Location - close to the highway and Central Zone entry gates. Kaziranga is strung out west to east along NH 37. Jhupuri's location makes it equally accessible to all 4 tourism zones. If you stay near Agoratoli then Burrapahar or Bagori become quite far and vice versa. If you intend to explore all zones, stay near Central 2. Great staff - special mention to Gobindo in the restaurant, great guy with awesome hospitality skills. Overall everyone working here was very very helpful. They might not have the polish of professionally trained 5 star staff, they are mostly drawn from local villages, but they do their best to make your stay most comfortable. 3. Good service - packed breakfast at 5 am in the morning, late dinner, they cater to most reasonable requests 4. View from valley facing rooms is great. It overlooks a small forested patch and you can see deer and a lot of birds 5. Great bushy campus - with lots of colourful birds and butterflies, nice place for a bonfire as well. 6. Very economically priced Cons Nothing very major, it is an economic place , so things are not ostentatious, so be prepared.

My private guide and I stayed here in January, 2018 during a 4-day tour of the national park and the accommodations were very nice. The cottages were neat and clean. Breakfast service in the pavilion was always prompt and tasty. The pavilion and grounds were nicely maintained and the variety of flowering plants was lovely. The staff was very courteous and accommodating to our needs.

My advise: do not visit! The rooms are very dirty and in a bad condition, the staff is unfriendly (except for one guy) and lazy (what are they doing the whole day?) We asked them to clean the room, they just ignored it. The food is greasy and the tableware is dirty. Never again.

Stayed here at the end of a 2 week trip to Arunachal Pradesh and Assam with husband and a friend. Accomodation clean and what was expected. Food was lovely, as was all the Indian food we had during our stay. We had deep fried leaves one evening which were so tasty our guide requested it again for us. Next day we had them with our lunch - (please what sort of leaves were they as they were so tasty) Each morning we received a flask of Masla tea and biscuits with our wake up. Staff were helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

I was put up here by the agent .The layout of the cottages was excellent The ambience of the cottage was very good. There were mosquitoes. The cottage was cold in the nights. They clean up the cottages and the cottage had a bad smell. They don't accept credit cards or foreign currency. The manager was not there only workers they speak poor English. This is good for only locals with Indian rupees and Hindi speaking.
