Detailed Reviews
Located in the temple complex of Golden Pagoda in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, it offers a very pleasant stay. The ground is beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. The cottages are very spacious. The cottage we stayed in had two living rooms, an ante room, separate huge latrine and bathroom. It was also well furnished. Linens and toiletries were in place. We stayed only for a night. Room service is available. Food is good. Complimentary breakfast is served in the common dining area and has very limited options.

Soon after I heard about this place from a friend of mine, I, alongwith 3 of my friends had visited the Golden Pagoda and stayed in this beautiful resort amidst greenery for a night. We had booked two cottages for our stay. The cottage was well maintained and had all basic amenities. It had a beautiful sitting area too where you could sip your cup of tea sitting there comfortably. The food was good. Also loved the service friendly staff. The resort is quite well maintained, beautiful and the environment is filled with serenity. Also, the chirping of birds will make you feel so pleasant.
The only issue we had faced was that, they didn't accept card payment for the bills and we were asked to pay in cash. With no ATMs nearby, we had to travel long distance to find one. So, the next time you plan to stay in this resort, make sure to keep cash handy.
I would also suggest to book your cottage over phone so that you don't have to leave disappointed ☹️

Beautiful resort next to the gorgeous Golden Pagoda in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh. My rating is heavily biased due to the excellent location though accommodation and other amenities are average. The cottage was very spacious, but lacked class. Breakfast was basic but good. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious food including some local cuisine.

I was surprised to find this gem of a resort in Namsai, Assam. Excellent accommodation, wonderful ambience, well maintained property, within the serene surroundings of the Golden Pagoda Complex. If you are looking for a peaceful couple of days, this place is ideal. GM of the property Mr. Majumdar is an excellent host.

This hotel is right next to the ethereal Golden Pagoda shrine. Go for a walk to the temple first thing in the morning, and you'll have the place pretty much all to yourself with a perhaps a Buddhist monk or two for (silent) company. The food is decent - order the local cuisine - the staff are friendly and helpful, and the cottages are spacious. Well worth visiting.

The place is simply pristine. close to a river the eco resort boast of green landscape which is too big to adjust your eyes specially if you are coming from cities.
the cottages are nice, not just spacious but very spacious. you can park your vehicle in front of your cottage. nice clean room and bathroom with geyser for hot water. the landscape is nicely maintained with lots of fruit trees like oranges etc.
Kitchen has limited option and and that's the only option. you just cant go out and eat because there is nothing beyond the resort. The breakfast option is standard (Chana / Matar + aloo subzi, poori, Boiled egg and tea). This seems to be the fixed option since during my both visits i found the same breakfast. Lunch and dinner are ala-karte but do not expect fancy stuff.
What is really undoing of a resort is the administration. if you ask extra bed, or some other housekeeping, the response is very very very slow. no intercom, and mobile signal is very week. so you have to walk to office which is far and then there is no guarantee that you would find someone there.
During my second visit, i had to vacate early (7 am) and there was no one in the reception for checkout. i tried hard, shouted name of manager but to no avail. at 8:30 someone came who knew the manager and he had a number so I called him and this guy was sleeping in a room beside the reception. I was really pissed of. I had an option of leaving the keys and go but then I also had to pay.
I would suggest to clear the bills in night and next morning just drop the keys and leave.

Stayed here for one night while visiting the Golden Pagoda and Parshuram Kund and was pleased on arrival to find cute cottages in well-maintained, serene grounds adjacent to the Golden Pagoda.
The cottage had a spacious bedroom and a porch to sit on, with a large bathroom too. For the price the accommodation is great, but there is definitely room to make it even better.
For example, the bathroom could look at bit cleaner and could have fancier tiling and fit large, double sinks in fitted units.
The grounds are lovely with lots of trees and you can easily access the grounds of the pagoda.
We also ate dinner in our room and had breakfast in the eating area. The food was really good and very cheap too.
This place is a great-value, hidden-gem that is well worth visiting. While there is room for improvement, for what you get for the price I'm rating this place as excellent.

Went for a two day holiday after a busy schedule ..wasn't expecting luxury ..but rooms are spacious but poorly maintained..as per the resort website there is power backup ...1st night there was no electricity for 2 hrs ..next day when I complained about the same the management promised it won't happen again ..but 2nd night once more there was no power for 3 hrs ..in the hight of summer .. what was supposed to be a short rejuvenation turned out to be a nightmare worst part is that the management doesn't seem to be affected by it...so people who r planning to spend their very hard earned money Nd a hard earned vacation ..do think twice before choosing this property...I hope the review will prompt some improvement in the resort.... otherwise the location Nd serenity is wonderful for a quiet vacation..

This is an amazing place to have a quick and peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Nestled away on a hillock next to the sacred Golden Pagoda colloquially known as 'Kongmu Kham', this property is serene.
There is something that i would like to bring to traveller's notice. There have been scammers coming up with fake websites of the property and duping people by asking to them to pay advance in dubious personal accounts. Please note the advance shall only be paid at the time of check in and all booking are via tele-booking.
